Re: PR application and Registration Certificate Application

I see. I got confused as to that part because the lawyer I spoke to (not in a formal consultation, but still) convinced me that, regardless of my own employment, as long as I live in the same household as my sponsor and my sponsor covers the main expenses, then I will be classified as a dependent. ...

Re: MN1 section 3(1) application - confusion re: form

Thank you. Regarding child's "future" here - other than declaring intention to live in the UK in the form and in the cover letter, would any other docs help? Something like proof of home ownership? Or maybe I should send a mortgage statement to show commitment to the bank/paying the mortgage :) Not...

Re: MN1 section 3(1) application - confusion re: form

Yes, NCS are helpful.

If you have Dad's bc then add in the mix or at least take to NCS; (I think my wife submitted hers as she had it available anyway).

Child does not need to attend NCS.

Re: MN1 section 3(1) application - confusion re: form

Father's bc: No, don't think so - not for s.3(1); Father's passport: Yes (unless estranged); Father's DCPR: definitely; second parent needs to be at least settled, if not naturalising; - aim is to reinforce concept that child's future is in UK. A cogent cover letter explaining the joint responsibili...

Re: Refused Permanent Residence card, EEA national student,

If you were not a qualified person for one year in the middle of your time, to date, in UK, eg due to not having CSI (or alternative) as a student, then your PR clock will have stopped (and will have been reset to zero at that time).

Re: MN1 section 3(1) application - confusion re: form

Skip section 3; its not for a s.3(1) application.

And no issues if single parent if you can demonstrate sole responsibility and reasons for loss of contact with father & etc.

If visa expires gf will be an overstayer.

As well as marriage you could look at:
  • Tier 1;
    Tier 4;
    move to Europe;
    move to Canada;

Re: Swiss-Canadian wife & Canadian husband

That's a shame, but what must be done, must be done :) Would you happen to know if re-submitting the application with the new CSI information (once he gets turned down) will take six months again, or will it be a shorter time because it has already been processed and is just getting an add on? Than...

Re: EEA (FM) refused because passport not supplied

Your answer only really answers Q1. The documents for EEA(FM) and EEA(PR) are the same in this respect (which is useful to know). But that means they are equally unclear. I am asking what is meant by "qualified professional translator", and just referring back to the same document that I was readin...

Re: PR Application requiring CSI, Polish national

British spouse and children don't help.
You need to naturalise before finally applying for passport.

What were you doing in 2007?

Did you ever register on WRS?

If no CSI did you have foreign EHIC and/or student RC?
