Thank you very much. I called them up. They weren't able to track my application. However they said as long as royal mail website parcel tracker says it has been received its just wait time for the application to be picked up. Sorry by mistake I wrote application submission date 18/10/13 instead of 18/09/13 and date received is 19/09/2013

Can Can anyone advise what should I do rather than waiting for the acknowledgement to come through? Looking at time line of other people it's taking way to long for my application considering home office haven't even deducted the application fee for over a month

Thank you guys for all the informative feedback. Yhis means that I don't need to worry about the points scoring becacuse I am switching HSMP immigration status.

Secondly as you said I can use FLR(IED) before Dec 6th.
