I had read somehwere in the guidelines doc that "....all documents to be submitted in Original". I guess, if you are submitting ORIGINAL TRASCRIPT, it should not be a problem. However, in my opinion, do mention in the covering letter stating the reason of enclosing the transcripts. Best of luck

Ajex_Mumbai: Your family can come anytime during the validity of EC. There are no time restrictions for your dependents (family) to join you. But in any case they can't come to UK before you arrive here, if you are the principal applicant. So need to worry...just come here, arrange for accommodation...

You are right about using living room as per my convenience & so there should not be any problem. Well, I do intend to contact my agent/landlord to provide me some document/letter mentioning basic details of the property.
