FLR-M extension - Any Option to avoid IHS fee increase?

Hi all, I got the news from this forum that IHS is doubled from 08-Jan-2019. Many thanks for that. My spouse & child will complete 2.5 years in 24-Mar-2019. Their current visa are valid till June 2019. To avoid the fee increase I thought of doing one of the following before 08-Jan-2019. Option 1: Co...

Hi all, I tried in internet/google, however I couldn't find right information, so I post my query here. - I plan to apply for FLR-M extension (for another 30 months) in Apr2019 for my Spouse and Child as their inital FLR-M visas are due to expire in June2019. - My spouse passport is valid till Apr20...

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

I am on Tier 2 General 5 year route. We (all of us) got entry clearance on 10/12/2013. I entered the UK on 5/1/2014. Job start date 10/1/2014. All dependents entered the UK on 20/1/2014. I intended to apply for ILR for all of us at a time. My understanding is we are all eligible to apply for ILR af...

Make sure the rented property will be an "adequate accommodation" and your tenancy agreement is valid during application processing period I see the rule as below. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-fm-family-members E-ECP.3.4. Re: Move from Tier 2 PBS dependant to FLR (M) spouse visa within UK

Thank you for a prompt response. I understand about the clock resetting. What I want to ensure is that we can apply for her from within the UK. My plan is to book a premium service and get the visa in a day. Can I confirm that we can apply anytime, and that she doesn't have to leave the UK and appl...

Re: FLR M application

You must apply before the visa expires. If it expires on 30th July, that is the last date you can apply. 31st July would be out of time. If you can get an appointment on or before 30th when visa expires, you must apply by post. I think there's a typo above. If you can't get an appointment on or bef...

Re: My old address on payslips

pay-slip address should not be an issue and I believe HO won't consider payslip for Cohabitation requirement as long as you have other proofs like water, council, utility etc,. If you are worried then explain to the home office its genuine oversight on your part that your company system is not updat...

Re: IELTS skills life VS NARIC for spouse visa

On a slightly different case of mine, I am curious to know whether B1 is accepted for A1 / A2. I couldn't see any clear rule/statement that B1 is accepted for A1/A2 (assuming B1 certificate is provided first time to Home office). My case: My spouse used A1 for initial FLR-M. Her FLR-M extn is due ne...

Hi ,

Thanks for your reply. It helps me and others in same situation.

The point here is that they are accepting 11 months of CT600.

They usually give visa for 33 months. don't know why 30 months for you.

All the best anyway!

Re: NEW FEE 2017 When Fee already paid Online

Some people found a way to escape from 'Fee increase' - by completing application and paying before 'Fee increase date', and then simply postponing 'Bio-metric Appointment date' to desired date. Why to worry for your case?!! You are Okay!
