Re: Deception more than 10 years ago - cover letter required?

If no covering letter, do you think that false name needs to be on the form, as a previous name? No.. coz that section is for immigration applications only and not for tourist visa applications. It’s been declared so no deception. I can’t recall if there was or is a section or question on the appli...

Re: Citizenship application earlier than 12 months after Indefinite Leave granted

Ur application is not under consideration till you enrol biometrics and sopra forwards ur docs to HO. So, your referees will obviously not receive any communication. You on the other should have received an acknowledgment email from UKVI stating ur case ID So yes.. you can write as well send an ema...

Re: Tier 1 Dependent -> FLR(M) -> SET(M) Help

Read Zimbas & Cr001s posts. 1. You can apply via 10 year route on completion of tenth anniversary of ur ENTRY date to UK. 2023 2. According to Zimba, you’ve been put on the 10 year FLR(FP) route due to insufficient time on FLR(M) route in April 2018. 3. The above is the reason of refusal in 2019 4....

Re: ILR 10 years PBS lawful

From ur earlier post.. it sounded like you had overstayed..what’s the relevance of leaving within 28 days.. and of what? Per my understanding a rejected visa doesn’t supersede a current valid visa. Did you not read the guidance I posted? “If the applicant had existing leave to enter or remain when t...

Re: Tier 1 Dependent -> FLR(M) -> SET(M) Help

Not really.. but if you have the time and energy, you must complain. Send in a reconsideration stating exactly what transpired. How you mistakenly applied under flr m when you could clearly apply under pbs.. and How HO could have been kind enough in April 2018 and returned the fee and asked you to b...

Re: Free to leave the country straight after submitting citizenship application by naturalisation ?

Well you are free to leave but getting approved means nothing if you don’t take the oath and are granted the certificate.
British Nationality is a privilege not a right.
If it’s deemed that you never intended to make Britain ur main home than it can be revoked.

Re: ILR - The language test certificate to prove the level of English language required

Thank you! :) I've already booked the test and will be passing it in Jan 2020. The only thing I can do here, probably, is that I will try to book an application appointment on the after test results date. But I need to submit the ILR application before 12Dec (end of my visa). Although I agree with ...

Re: Tier 1 Dependent -> FLR(M) -> SET(M) Help

This looks familiar. You accepted the UKVI's offer which generally means that they then put you under the 10 year family route FLR(FP) in 2018 which resets the ILR clock under SET(M). This seems to be the reason why you were refused ILR. What did the decision letter in 2018 say ? What does your let...

Re: Tier 1 Dependent -> FLR(M) -> SET(M) Help

Does that mean the ILR clock has been reset from April 2018? :( How do I go about writing a complaint letter? Who do I write it to? I’m not sure tbh.. it could be from April 2018 plus 60 months or it could be from Ur previous FLR(M) issued on 25 Jan 2017 plus 60 months.. perhaps a moderator can con...

Re: Tier 1 Dependent -> FLR(M) -> SET(M) Help

Even though you had extant leave (a valid visa) till 13 AUG 2019, you accepted their offer and paid the IHS fee 😱? ‭ By paying the IHS fee you accepted the new visa and effectively reset ur ILR clock.. If I was you.. I would write a serious heavy handed complaint for giving you the run around! It’s ...

I hadn't realised that I had switched from Tier 1 dependent to Spouse visa and applied for a SET(M) in April 2019 (as I thought I completed 5 years). I got a letter from the Home Office explaining that I hadn't completed 5 years under FLR(M). And had my visa extended until December 2020. Ur timelin...
