If ur children were born here then they can register as BC. You and ur wife’s naturalisation or application is irrelevant to them. You could have registered them when you received ILR.

No point to embellish as HO can very well do the calculation from the date of entry the application is based upon.

Current valid passport and the passport used to enter as stated on ur naturalisation application as entry date shall suffice.

The 10 year employment history question is to gauge whether the applicant breached any immigration visa terms n conditions and whether relevant tax was paid during the time.
Better to state the info that HMRC has on the applicant. But even if you state the actuality it should have no adverse impact.

Documents are now scanned and uploaded. Originals are no longer sent to Home office.
The quality varies from scan type ie b&w, coloured etc.
