Re: Received approval letter but unsure about ceremony timeline

The reason I am asking this, is because I have an international trip on February 4th. If I attend the 13th January ceremony, it is most likely that I will not have my British Passport in time for my trip, and by then I will have to have destroyed my BRP ILR. So I was considering contacting the Loca...

To start off run a dummy application and it’ll generate a list of required documents. Read both guides.. google. Naturalisation as British citizen by discretion and Good character guidance for nationality. This research above shall instill a sense of self confidence. No financials required..immigrat...

Re: 3 weeks delay of application. Tier1 Investor Premium Service

Unfortunately.. there is no way to deal with a delay or any way to hurry up the process. The standard service time frame is 6 months or more .
But due to super priority ur application was dealt with priority. It’s now up to the organisations to revert back to HO(ho took consent to contact banks etc)

Re: ILR-5 year route- Documentation

1.No. Passport used for first entry onwards.

2. Migration status? If immigration status than
BRP shall suffice. It’s normal for one piece of evidence to suffice for two or three areas.

1. Do you have a valid national identity card? I am not an EEA national and i do have one for my country, do i have to give details of this or not? No. it’s for people who have freedom of movement and use just IDs to enter UK. Do you have a passport? That ll suffice . 2. Do you have a degree that w...

Re: Naturalisation Questions

Was anything unclear in my previous response? As far as I’m aware form caters to such questions rendering a cover letter obsolete for the purpose. If during the course of filling out the application you do not come across such a question then by all means state in a cover letter. I would advise to k...

Re: Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?

I don't know if a Student Visa is an immigration application abroad. All this is new to me.... I would say it is not an immigration application because it was temporal visa but not sure I would appreciate if someone could clarify. I would like to do it right As Alterhase said.. the answer is in the...

Re: Few questions about application!

Hi aman, Yes, it is littering the cigarette butt. I got caught at the scene by the officer and he said it was in his camera so I just accepted it because I did. The FPN says it is from the Council and I have paid already online. The officer also told me there would be no action if I pay in time, an...

Re: Few questions about application!

Do you mean Littering? How does one manage to get caught littering?
Can you challenge it?

No need. You’ve received it after you sent the application. It’s not a change of address or gender that you must inform HO.

Re: Set(M) Refused - Applied too early

I’m aware of ur case.. you were eligible on the day of decision.. 22/01, decision 18th Feb. Just that you applied early n submit biometrics before 28 days. They refused reconsideration and you accepted the new visa- paid everything etc- you then sent a pap citing the guidance that you were the abov...

This is quite a common occurrence.
Search the forum for answers.
You need the reference number and can submit a cover letter. You can call and find out ur test number from HO. Google it.

Re: Tier 2 dependant to ILR

Thank you aman90!! I realized when my husband applied for ILR, he only received a letter saying he would get his BRP in 7 days. In that letter, it only has a case ID, which is a nine-digit number. Is this the home office reference number? Or should I simply leave HO reference number blank? Leave bl...

If no covering letter, do you think that false name needs to be on the form, as a previous name? No.. coz that section is for immigration applications only and not for tourist visa applications. It’s been declared so no deception. I can’t recall if there was or is a section or question on the appli...
