We have only pointed out the correct guidance.
Thanks, if HO requires more doc, they will ask for it. Until then, I refused to worry over this.

my NCS personnel declined to photocopy my driver's lic even though I used it for my LIUK. She said they don't need it that my "passport is sufficient to proof my identity". Which is contrary to the the following instruction: * if you used one of these documents when you took the Knowledge of Life i...

I am not surprised if they are having to work twice as hard as before. Especially after the funding cuts, job losses etc... Every Government dept financial / budget year startes from April. If they did make people redundant (they would have known that in Jan / Feb) March 31st would have been their ...

Assuming you fullfill all the other standard requirments for naturalization your only worry seems to be related to the future intention requirment. However, since you recieved your Australian PR prior to your British ILR I don't think the HO will have any issue with this because you intend to live ...

1st Recorded Class is rubbish. Only special delivery guarantees next day delivery. BUT having said that, they may have received your application and the Royal Mail page never shows the delivery properly. It happens to 1st and 2nd class recorded. It's absolutely crap. I have sent 1st class recorded ...

Hope its not like early 2009 when HO received huge amount of applications when people started panicking due to " earn citizenship " announcement. people waited average 3- 4 months to hear back then. Applications could well possibly sit in the queue for 8 weeks, from then on, it could take another 4...

But in my case, I didn't receive ack letter and I called them; the gentleman I spoke to said not to worry if I didn't get one as long as my bank acct has been charged that the process is on. So now I'm waiting for t...

One of the reasons for the delays could be the training the case workers had to go through prior to the new rules kicking in on the 6th of April. I think the caseworkers are not segregated into fixed teams, so have to be aware of all the new immigration rules. I could go on speculating on the reaso...

If 'waiting to be allocated' and 'waiting for checks' is the same thing, than perhaps UKBA is now conducting enhanced checks for Naturalisation applications which were not conducted before. Maybe this is the backdoor for the conservative govt to tighten the naturalisation process. That is plausible...
