Re: EU & Brexit Deal

I have been just asking for some clearance in a status for PR holders like myself.

Obviously I will stick to PR status, I do not have any other choice. but I have thought maybe someone would be input some more certainty.

Thank you.

Re: EU & Brexit Deal

Dear all, Based on what I have read above, will I be able to register myself and get settled status if I am a PR holder (was married to EEA national, then divorce, retained my rights and obtained PR in 2015)? Above I can read that "EEA citizens and their family members already living in the UK will ...

Thank you Char!
I think I should really stop listening to "stupid" advices from other people. As it turns out once again, immigrationboards.com knows better.
You are great Char!

Re: spouse visa extension FLR(M) query

Thank you Char for your reply, much appreciate that. I have a question that I'm sure confuses most of spouses in the UK - pregnancy and statutory maternity pay. 1) As a spouse with "no recourse to public funds", can my partner for instance receive SMP? The company, she works for, pays 4 months 90% s...

spouse visa extension FLR(M) query

Dear forum members and respected gurus, I've got some queries related to FLR (M) application: 1) Will it be sufficient if a couple submits two joint accounts statements, one separate bank statement for each of the partners and a joint utility bill (both of their names on it)? 2) Should these paperwo...

PR holder, what will happen after Mar-19?

Dear forum members and gurus, I have been trying to find an information in regards to what will happen to my status after Mar-19, but there's no clear details in regards to non-EU PR holders. To be honest I've got a bit confused with everything that I read so far. I'm currently holding Permanent Res...

is Apostille needed for marriage certificate?

They submitted bio-metrics and passport in British Embassy in Tbilisi last week. Now she needs to send all the paperwork to Sheffield, but the marriage certificate i...

Re: Referee for naturalisation process

Yes, the person is a registered member of the professional body (CIMA) but still part-qualified, according to him 4 exams away from full qualification.
So it means he cannot be a referee then.

Dear forum members and respected Gurus,

I have a question, can part-qualified accountant (not British citizen) holding position of an assistant management accountant be one of the referees for naturalisation application?

Many thanks for your replies

Re: NHS registration

Thank you Casa! I'd like to ask further in order to clarify for myself. If my wife gets sick - flu, chest infection or become pregnant, will she need to pay for NHS services or again only prescription fees? Don't get me wrong she's healthy, thanks God almighty, but just in case if somebody's spouse ...

NHS registration

Dear forum members and respected gurus,

As we paid NHS surcharge with the application, does the spouse-visa holder need to pay anything for registration at local GP?
Will my wife pay every time when she visits GP or any of their services?

Thank you,
Artur

Re: FLR(M) extension

Thanks CR001!

I was thinking it should be joint correspondence :)

So, if my wife receives 1 personal bank statement and a utility bill along with our joint account,
then me having 1 bank statement and another utility bill with the same joint bank account - will that be sufficient you think?

Dear forum members and respected Gurus, I've got a question in regards to a spouse visa extension. My wife arrived last month, but I'm already thinking about her visa extension in 2.5 yrs. In order to extend her spouse visa we will need to show three different pieces of correspondence. My utility su...

Arriving to the UK - spouse visa

Re: Spouse visa BRP - National Insurance

Thank you CR001 for a quick reply,

I must have misunderstood this page on government website:
https://www.gov.uk/apply-national-insurance-number

It's a bit confusing that they put such a misleading info there.

Spouse visa BRP - National Insurance

Hi everyone,

My wife was granted spouse visa last month and due to arrive next week.

Is it true that she doesn't need to apply for NI number, as her NI number is printed on the BRP card she'll collect once she's arrived?

Thank you,
Artur
