Do I need to scan my documents?

Hi,

I just booked a premium lounge appointment in Mark Lane for Thursday. Do I need to scan my documents myself? I don't have a scanner and I really don't like scanning documents. Thank you

Urgent! No appointment available on sopra website

Hi,

I just tried to book an appointment for SET LR and nothing is available except the premium lounge. Does anybody else have the same experience? Many Thanks

Re: SET (LR) application form help

Ok, thank you and sorry for confusing forum rules. One more question. Just to confirm, If I have all my passports for the entire 10 year period, I don't need to supply additional evidence (such as council tax, tenancy agreement,.....) to prove that I have been resident, is that right? Thank you so m...

SET (LR) application form help

Hello, I'm applying for long residence this week. The application form says if I have any other reasons for wanting to stay in the UK. What should I write? Can I say that I came to the UK at age 17 and since then I have left the UK only a handful of times and hence it would be unreasonable to expect...

Is passport sized photos required anymore?

Hi,

I'm applying for long residence next week. Does HO requires passport sized photos anymore? I can't see anything in the application form.

Thanks.

Long residence 28 days early application

Hello,

I entered the UK on 19th February 2009. When is the first day I can submit my application online? As I understand HO counts online application submission date as the date of the application. When is the first day I can apply? 22nd or 23rd January? I'm a little confused.

Many thanks

Terminated while outside the UK.

Hello,

My friend was recently terminated by his employer while outside the UK. Can he come back to the UK to get his stuff back and return?

Thank you.

Long Residency starts with visitor visa

Hello, I came to the UK almost 10 years ago on a visitor visa. It was a type C visa, valid for 6 months and multi entry. I came for a visit for only 9 days and left the country and returned 102 days later with a student visa. Since I came back with a student visa, I have been outside the UK very few...

Re: Wrong SOC code

Thank you so much for your help. Yes it is the same friend. I will let him know about ACAS.

Yes, I warned him as well but, it was his decision after all. I encourage everyone to follow the rules at all times.

Re: Wrong SOC code

Urgent please. The company described above was raided today by the HO. They interviewed everyone single individual, They were there for the whole day I'm told. The end is clear, the license will be 100% revoked as the company is violating so many immigration rules. My only question is this, my frien...

Ok got it, Thank you. Can you confirm if the license can be curtailed if the only violation is the employee works as a letting agent?

Thanks.

Re: Wrong SOC code

He's being paid £25,100+ commissions (about £30k in total) and he is the highest paid among his peers, because others are not on visa, so they get much lower salaries. There are other issues as well. He was sponsored by lets say "company A" but on his payslips and bank statements it is company B (su...

Wrong SOC code

Hi, This is for one of my friends as I'm currently on Tier 1 E. He got sponsored by a company as an account manager (SOC code: 3545) but he actually works as a letting agent which is RQF 3 (SOC code:3544). The manager told him they can't write letting agent on the COS because it won't qualify but hi...

Re: failed degree but sponsored for Tier 1 GE

Sorry one more question.

Can the guy who is on Tier 2 visa switch to Tier 1 GE if the university agrees to sponsor him? Obviously outside the country because switching inside the UK is not allowed for Tier 2 visa holders. He graduated in July 2017.

Thank you.
