Re: Using Friend's office

Thank you. Just wanted to make sure. I don't want to get any surprises come extension time. :) Couple of more questions please if you don't mind. 1. My business will be all cash business. In my industry, most companies operate on cash only basis and usually no contract, so just wondering if that's o...

Hello, I'm in process of hiring my first employee. I was wondering If I can use my friend's office to save on costs. He has offered me his office for free for at least the next 6 months. I need to save on every penny I can find and saving on rent can give me a very nice advantage over competitors. O...

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Raheel congrats on your ILR. I'm in the same situation as you. Just a couple of questions please. Were in the first part of your visa (3 years) or the extension part? When was your Tier 1 entrepreneur approved? Did you provide your business related documents in the beginning of the appointment or wh...

Tier 2 Premium Interview

Hello, My friend has a premium appointment booked for his Tier 2 visa application on Thursday. I was just wondering if HO interviews Tier 2 premium applicants on the same day, if they decide to do so. Or do they give notice to come for another day, because my friend would like to take his lawyer wit...

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa Conditions

Ok thank you Zimba.

Just one more question, Has there been any case of 10 year ILR that you are aware of that was refused due to Tier 1 entrepreneur business/genuineness reasons?

Thank you so much.

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa Conditions

Thank you Zimba. Yes, I have. I'm aware of no recourse to public funds, police registration, etc but these conditions do not require a bank statement and I read on the ILR forum they were asking for bank statements? I mean on the business side, What does HO look at? For what business reasons can they...

Re: Tier 2 and NQF level

Actually, I have told him many times about the consequences but he said it is better to go back to his country and earning £400/month. I will tell him again. He is not related to anyone within the firm. He got the offer through one of his friends who had gotten the offer before him and couldn't make...

Re: Tier 2 and NQF level

Thank you for your reply. No fee, zero. They actually had to pay him a little more than his peers to meet the minimum salary of £26k, This is major real estate agency in London and not some COS for Fee shop. They actually know they are writing the wrong NQF. Can I ask one more question? What are the...

Re: Tier 2 and NQF level

Just had a look at the COS. The NQF code is 2424. What are the consequences of wrong job description/NQF code for the applicant? This firm is a major major real estate firm in London. They have told him they know what they are doing and they have done this many times before.

Thanks.

Re: Tier 2 and NQF level

Yes, letting agent is RFQ 3 but I think they will issue (we don't have the SOC yet) SOC for 2473 or Advertising accounts managers and creative directors. His job is to create advertising materials for Zoopla & Rightmove, viewings for potential tenants and copying keys. He just graduated this summer ...

Re: Tier 2 and NQF level

Thank you for your reply.

Are you sure Tier 4 to Tier 2 switchers are not exempt from that? This company is A rated and a very good real estate agent. My friend asked them again today and they told him they know what they are doing.
