Re: MNI process for child born in the UK in 2006 but lives abroad

Hi,

She has a non-EU citizenship and will keep that citizenship.

Can she just come on a visit visa an apply for the naturalisation?

Regards,

MNI process for child born in the UK in 2006 but lives abroad

I am asking this question on someone else's behalf, and hoping if the respected community members can help. I am a British Citizen and am living in Dubai. My daughter who is now 11 years old was born in the UK in 2006. At that time I did not have an ILR or British Citizenship. In order for my daught...

Your marriage certificate.
Thanks Richard. Do i need to print out any other documents e.g. the European regulation that allows this? I would hate to go to the border with my 4 year old daughter on a planned trip, only to return because i didnt have enough paper work.

Re: Visa for a EU Family member

Thank you very much for your help. My wife has never worked in a member state other than France. I will see how I can get the EEA family permit. However, can you just clarify what would happen at Calais? Is their a document that is required for the single entry stamp at the port? I assume this is ir...

Re: ILR Application

Many thanks mate. Highly appreciate your response. However, in the ILR guidance it states that the Absences must be for a reason consistent with the original purpose of entry to the UK or for a serious or compelling reason. Since I am a Tier-1 general migrant, do I need to give reasons for the 2 mon...

Re: ILR Application

Many thanks for your response. Highly appreciate that. Let me clarify that a bit more. I received Entry Clearance in 2008, but did not enter until Sep 2011. Upon entry in Sep, i stayed a couple of days before leaving. I returned after almost 2 months in November 2011. Based on the advice of respecte...

ILR Application

Dear Friends/Respected board members, I want to know what is the earliest time I can apply for ILR. I made my first entry on my Tier1-General visa in 9 Sep 2011 for a interview, and then went back to my home country. I just stayed for two days in Sep 2011. When I went back, I got an offer letter fro...

ILR Application - Myself and Dependents

I got my first 2 years extension in Nov-2011, and got dependent visas for my family (Spouse + 2 Kids ) in Dec-2011. We got another 3 years extension i...
