EEA4 Quick Question

Hi all, It's a quick question, but I can't manage to find the answer here. If dependent family member join me on EEA2 in UK, when applying for EEA4 after 5 years, do they still need to be financially dependent on me to qualify? What if I go to take a 5 year course and they live on their own income i...

Re: EEA Family Permit

Has he got proof that she's dependent on him? EEA Family members in the ascending line must be dependant on the EEA Citizen. He would need to prove this by showing that she lives with him in UK, etc. Also, why not apply under domestic legislation or has this been refused and if so why? Yes. His mot...

EEA Family Permit

This is a question by one of my friend. He is a British citizen and will be going to Ireland to exercise EU Treaty Rights and wants to bring his mother(non-EEA) with him. After that he will come back to UK based on Surinder Singh ruling and apply for EEA2 for his mom. Does anyone know if his mother ...

Question is can i send a postal application and if they take over a week to ...

Thank you very much guys. Really appreciate your help. I kinda agree with paulmu though that Annex B 2.2 is just a way of saying and doesn't necessarily mean that ILR cannot be granted if current visa is not due to expire shortly in this case. It just doesn't quite make sense because that would mean...

Re: HSMP Late Entry of 2+ Months - When to Apply for ILR

Hi Mate, Though from new guidance it looks that you are eligible to apply on 1 sept 2011 but i would suggest to wait till dec for ILR application, it will keep your apllication less complex. Can I ask you something about the visa expiry correction you mentioned. How did it happened, was that they f...

HSMP Late Entry of 2+ Months - When to Apply for ILR

Hey Guys, hope someone could help me check out if I misunderstood anything. We first got our HSMP entry clearance on Sep 29 2006 but entered UK on Dec 17 2006, which means we have an initial gap of 2+ months. Our first extension was valid till Sep 29 2011 but according to the conversation between hs...

Re: Nice Point

I also Entered UK after two months of getting Visa. I am short my 30 Days to Apply for ILR (i.e (28 + 30)). By seeing this, It looks I can apply for ILR after 4 Years and 10 months. But one point. It says, Case Worker may Count. (i.e may or may not be?) Wait for any senior member to comment on this...

You can provide them the royal mail bar code reference of the package you sent to UKBA. That is acceptable when an application reference is not available. Of course, that only applies if you sent your passports by recorded/special delivery :) I've called them today, but they can't find the case usi...

Please give suggestions. Your situation is the quite the same as mine, 1+4. Only my child does have a dependant visa stamped already. I sent out our passports last weekend and am still waiting for a result. IMHO, I don't see a reason why you shouldn't be covered by JR policy... For your son's passp...

Got our 1st extension which is from Sep 30 2007 - Sep 29 2011. We have a shortfall of 2.5 months to apply for settlement. Should I follow the s...
