Re: T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

If your extension is refused why do you think your ILR will succeed? The same rules apply :? Yes, but... I need 10 more weeks to qualify for the ILR (employment). My mistake. I'm trying to find a way to win some time and avoid going through another T1(E) extension (covid related) and then having to...

T1(E) to ILR application - various questions

Dear Forum, This is an ILR-related question, my previous questions were posted in a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) subforum. Also, my previous topic here is locked ("ILR application - various questions") so I've started a new one but please feel free to merge. Question: IF my T1(E) extension is refused and b...

Re: Covid related extension

Correct, the application date remains the date of the 1st application. If that were not the case, there would be an overstay period between 1 Feb and the date of application, leading to its potential rejection. Understand. So playing with dates and varying my application won't help and won't gain m...

(2) Yes, you can vary the application by submitting a new one and the 45 days will 'restart' as it is a totally new application.
Hmm… this way you can vary your application a few times until you fulfil the requirements by the last application date… Just speculating, not planning to do so.

Re: Covid related extension

Thanks so much, Zimba. Further questions: (1) Will the time between the application date and the biometrics date be considered towards the job creation requirement? Example: Current leave to remain expires 1 Feb Application date 1 Feb Biometrics and evidence submitted 6 March Will period 1 Feb - 6 M...

You can delay your biometrcis.
Do you know by any chance what's the maximum time I can delay it for?
Thanks again.

Re: Covid related extension

Question 2 – Police registration I received my Tier 1 (E) extension two months before the first lockdown and didn’t register it with the overseas police office immediately for a personal reason. With the beginning of the lockdown, the Overseas Visitors Records Office got closed so I didn’t register ...

Covid related extension

Dear forum, I need your advice. I will be applying for a covid-related extension in two weeks time. According to the rules, IF I am successful with my application, I will be given another two years during which, in order to apply for the settlement, I will have to show additional 2 jobs (or the same...

Re: ILR application - various questions

What exactly can be considered "equivalent" ...

You do not need to send investment evidence if you provided those at the extension stage

Re: ILR application - various questions

Thank you. 1. You only need to submit one set of accounts. It can be any year as long as it shows the full investment. My full investment was made before the T1E extension (unaudited accounts and an accountant compilation report from my accountant were submitted). Will I have to submit another set o...

Re: ILR application - various questions

Dear admins,
This is a Tier 1 (E) to ILR topic. Can I kindly ask to move it back to the Tier 1 (E) subforum? All the questions here are about the Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) requirements and have nothing to do with non-Tier ILR applications.
I'll v much appreciate it!

Re: ILR application - various questions

Hours do not show up on payslips in the majority of cases. There is no such requirement at all. Caseworkers simply assume a position was full time when you say so. The whole 130 hours a month can be used as a guideline if you like however to be accurate, you should calculate things on 52 weeks basi...

Re: ILR application - various questions

Thank you, Zimba. I'm not sure I understand the practical aspect of it. Full time or part-time status is indeed only determined by the hours worked a week. If you work more than 30 hours a week, you are full time. No questions there. However, salary is paid monthly and payslips are produced on a mon...

Re: ILR application - various questions

Hi, a question about a FT job,120 vs 130 hours per month. The immigration rules define FT job as 30 hrs/week. I remember it was interpreted as 130h/month in the guidance (and 120 in the application form) but I can’t find any mentioning of 130h in the guidance any more. Has anything changed? February...

Re: Tier 1 leave to remain (NOT ILR) and child benefits for British children

Thank you!
I think there was an exception for the parent of a British child (who won't be excluded from entitlement to child benefit on the ground that they are subject to immigration control) but I can't find it in the Public Funds Guidance any longer.

Tier 1 leave to remain (NOT ILR) and child benefits for British children

Dear Forum, I am currently in the UK on a Tier 1 Entrepreneur leave to remain (NOT ILR). My partner and children are UK citizens. I am subject to immigration control and I do not have access to public funds. However, the child benefit is designed not exactly for me but for my children. Question: Can...

Re: ILR application - various questions

Dear all, How suspicious is the Home Office of changing the accountant? Sadly, my accountants became rather overpriced, also they became very unapproachable, hardly answer any questions and keep making mistakes so I'm getting a bit tired. Ideally, I'd love to change them but my inner feeling is that...

Thank you, marcnath! All makes sense. 2. Yes, you can. However note that the relaxation was ".... if the business was affected by Coronavirus ....". So, while I can't comment on what HO will do, if for example both jobs were before Corona virus hit, HO could refuse to accept the flexibility. All job...

ILR application - various questions

Dear Forum, Thanks so much for all the support over the last several years, I am applying for ILR in over a year.
