Re: EU3 application concerns

How long were you waiting until you got temporary residency? I applied in October last year . Visa expired in January but no reply yet. No further residency just an acknowledgement letter.

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

They are threatening. You do not have an Eufam so how can it be revoked? May i ask you what are those marriage of convenience allegations from the minister? (They are not always right) They will notify the citizenship division who will then decide your current circumstances. I dought so!!!! Do you h...

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

If it is that easy than how can they take a passport away from his irish born child ? Was it the babys fault that his dad contracted a marriage for residency? How can the minister cancel his passport and deport him back to his country of origin leaving his wife and son behind? I understand that the ...

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

The person who i am referring to is a Pakistan citizen holding dual irish nationality. Minister provided evidence of his first wife's residence in Latvia while he had shown that she was exercising her treaty rights in Ireland with forged but registered jobs. Clearly the minister had sufficient docum...

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

The DoJ sent him a letter that your first wife was not residing in Ireland while you were still married therefore any tax letters and payslips submitted then were forged. They provided proofs of all fake documents that he submitted then. He hired a solicitor to convince the minister that it's not th...

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

I am not an expert and not sure what advice to give you but a close friend of mine had a very similar situation. Passport revoked after the allegations of a contracted marriage. The Doj couldn't do anything about it. He is still residing here with his second wife and kids and all of them have their ...

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

Hi there, Why should Eu citizens be responsible for the marriage of convience? We don't need any visa etc to work in Ireland, only if you are a threat to the state, you can be banned from the entrance or deported (murderers, criminals etc, the marriage of convenience would never make anyone who got...

Re: Irish Passport Revoke marriage of convenience

Ok we know that the passport service has the power to revoke the passport if naturalisation application is revoked by the minister. What happens after the revocation? Do they cancel the passport ? Or just simply impose a fine or prison sentence? Why do only the non-Eu has to face a penalty? Eu citiz...

Re: Naturalization Application Submission and 4 months to IRP Renewal

If the IRP renewal has nothing to do with the ctz3 than does that mean the Gnib card must be valid at the time of application only ???
For instance when submitting ctz3 if the Gnib card is expiring in a month would this make any difference ?

Re: Permanent Residence Card EU3FAM

Hi.
My question is a bit off topic.
How long you had to wait to get a permanent card decision.
Can you please share timeline?
Acknowledgement date?
Temporary permission date?
Permanent card approval date?

Many thanks

Re: chenchooliah V Minister For Justice - Important Judgement On Rights Of EU Citizen Spouses.

This case does not refer to Chenchooliah, but does include baseless allegations by the minister. Marriage of convenience does not nullify a marriage. Previously the court erred in concluding the findings that no rights arose as a result of a sham marriage. Conclusion by the supreme court does not in...

Re: EU3 form

Old department numbers are used as a cross reference for older cases. These numbers will gradually cease to be used after the changes to new reference numbering system. New applications only include Person ID and application number. You do not need to put in the old department reference number(becau...

Re: Advise on extension of immigration permission in Ireland

If you have the decree of divorce than Form EU5 is your next step. 7.A.i. Prior to initiation of the divorce, annulment or dissolution proceedings, the marriage or civil partnership lasted at least three years, including one year in the State, and the EU citizen was exercising their EU Treaty Rights...

Re: Advise on extension of immigration permission in Ireland

The Citizenship section have finally gotten wise to the Stamp4EUFam applications. They're looking for evidence of the EU citizens exercise of rights now, because the EU Treaty rights permissions are declaratory only. Either treaty rights are being exercised or they aren't - the existence of the per...

Re: Stolen GNIB card

Gnib card is a registration certificate not a visa nor an ID card. In case if the Gnib card is lost or stolen the passenger can travel with their visa stamp but they would need a police certificate. Airlines do ask for a GNib card but stamp may suffice. The only hassle is explaining the circumstance...
