Thanks. Did you perhaps choose to have your documents checked?

I have opted for the free appointment without any additional purchased and clicked to submit uploads.
Yes, I got paid appointment so document check was included.

Re: Passport Pages

Yes, that should be fine, however, during biometrics appointment they may scan the full passport again. Anyway, if you are too worried you should still be able to upload full passport scan on ukvcas portal until 48 hrs of your biometrics appointment. FYI, I uploaded full passport scan but they scann...

Re: MN1 prep work - queries

Just doing a bit more research regarding surrendering Indian passport after MN1 registration and found this (6th paragraph: https://www.vfsglobal.com/India/UK/Surrender.html ) "The Indian Citizenship Act, 1955, does not allow dual citizenship. Holding Indian passport/acquiring Indian passport/travel...

Re: MN1 prep work - queries

Oh! Just saw the hotel quarantine costs and that's going to cost anywhere between £2725 and upwards for a family. It is indeed a high stake gamble! Leaving aside the costs, locked up in a room for 11 nights with your wife and kids will be crazy! 😜 Ha ha.. that's true. Kids will go crazy & drive us ...

Re: MN1 prep work - queries

Yes given the covid situation, travel is always a stress especially with young kids. India has one of the highest cases atm, plus scientists predict a third corona wave in UK during summer/autumn.. once the restrictions are eased.. so tbh.. its like a gamble these days.. I know many who went to Pak...

Re: MN1 prep work - queries

Any one can be the odd one out in the trend. Every case is processed on its own merits. So really you can not know. If you provide biometrics in July.. I believe you are safe to travel July/Aug without any certificate postage stress..but obviously its your choice. Yeah, I agree. I'm still in two mi...

When you got new BRP, you'd have received instructions to send the old BRP back to HO. Check that email/letter content for address and instructions.

Re: MN1 prep work - queries

Only thing is if certificate arrives when we are out of the UK then I hope we are not officially/wantedly breaking any rules. As long the Tier 2 Dep visa is valid, child will be able to return to UK. No issue. Cool. Thanks for the guidence, will plan accordingly. I'll keep a close eye on MN1 timeli...

Re: MN1 prep work - queries

Just scanned the MN1 timeline again and noticed that some got their certificate around 3-4 weeks after biometrics submission and many got after 3 months. Your suggestion sounds sensible based on the above trend (best& worst case scenarios). Perhaps apply early June & biometrics in mid July. Only thi...

Re: MN1 prep work - queries

Biometrics deadline is the same for everyone. 45 working days after application submission. When do you plan to travel? And how long for? When does the Tier 2 Dep expire? Oh, ok. Thanks. School holidays start from 22nd July, so that day onwards or the week after, subject to flight tickets availabil...

Re: MN1 prep work - queries

Thanks CULLINAN. I need to explore/research a few things to line up all the ducks in a row to avoid any issues, especially due to travel plans. 1. After submitting MN1 application, is there a limit by when the kids need to provide their biometrics? If there's no limit then we can submit application ...

What's your immigration history? There's no financial requirement for Set (O) applications but there may be for other ILR routes (others can guide once you confirm your immigration history).

This is a normal standard child safety protocol email. Just reply that you plan to register your children as BC via MN1 after your ILR as they are born in UK. This is good news as your application is already been considered. As soon they will get your response, the decision will be made right away ...
