Re: URGENT: Success rate of RLMT

1. No, it's not just a "formality". Sponsor should do it properly & thoroughly otherwise they may be penalised by UKVI. There are certain rules/guidelines on how to do RLMT (2 different adverts/medium, 28 or more days, etc). 2. It depends whether they have sponsorship licence or not. Generally, the ...

Re: Tier 2 maintenance in multiple bank accounts

Is your sponsor not certifying your maintenance? If they do you don't need to worry about bank statements. Anyway, as I see, there's nothing stopping you from using 3 accounts as long as you provide evidence in the right format. Page 44 guidance which can be found on gov.uk. 172. We will not award p...

Re: Tier 2 Visa - Unpaid Leave “URGENT”

Did you take unpaid leave without employer authorisation? Also, they should've reported back then, so why are they suddenly terminating contract? I'm not sure about your options now, but I think as long as you get a new sponsor, you may be able to extend your stay with new tier 2 visa. But wait for ...

Re: Work Visa for Indian Passport holder living in UK

Hey ho, this is the Europe forum, so UK visitor visas are not exactly the norm :) Who knows what changes will come after Brexit. Or before. Things are really up in the air now. Indeed. There's gonna be lots of new sticky pages and many more locked pages when rules start to change. At least, we don'...

Re: Change of Employment -Tier 2 General

I don't think it technically falls under the switch category as you are not switching from different visa category. https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/extend-your-visa Check the above link and jump to "If you change your job" section. Basically it's a new application, so pretty much same process like...

Click through your link and you will be lead to the standard visitor visa. The UK reformed their visitor visa categories a few years ago. OMG. Apologies 🙏. I think I read on this forum that the letter should be dated within 28 days of your application, but wait for others advice. Check the sticky posts/FAQ section for letter format.

Re: Tier 4 visa and maintenance Fund

1. Yes, as long as your recent transactions, especially within last 28 days doesn't cover any cash deposits then you should be fine. 2. I'm note sure of personal loan for tier 4. If that's the only option then better to get it deposited a couple of months so it doesn't come in the 28 day statement. ...

Re: Tier 4 visa and maintenance Fund

Have to check the guide or other ukvi sources, however, my cousin's tier 4 visa was rejected a few years ago as he didn't explain large deposits.

Basically, ukvi will try to find reasons to reject if they are not satisfied with your evidence.

Re: Tier 4 visa and maintenance Fund

Tier 2 ICT does not lead to ILR based on 5 years residence. Presumably the ICT visa holder will switch to dependent visa for 12 months and then apply for tier 2 General.
Thanks for the correction👍. In which case, makes sense to switch I guess.

Re: Tier 4 visa and maintenance Fund

1. Yes, they expect to know the source of the funds, especially large amounts deposited into your account or transactions that show cash deposits. If they are not satisfied with source of funds explanation then visa could be rejected. 2. Why do they want to do that? Is your husband's ICT visa too ex...

How long you've been on PBS dependant visa and why you want to switch? If I'm not wrong, your ILR clock will reset to zero if you switch.

Re: Border checks on financial situation when re-entering on Tier 4 visa

I never heard of such financial checks for returning tier 4 visa holders. I'd expect general questions like how long they were out of UK, etc. but not if they have enough money in their account or not. Anyway that's just my experience/opinion. Let's see if any recent tier 4 students have any feedback.

Re: Tier 4 student visa “no work except work placement

You should be able to work full-time as long as you finished your degree. Request a letter from your university to confirm in writing that you finished your course and you can work full-time or certain hours/week until your visa expiry date. Generally your university would be able to clarify on this...

1. As long as you submit the application before their current visa expires, then it will be fine even if the rest of the formalities (biometrics, etc) are completed beyond the expiry date. 2. Not 100% sure. Wait for others to confirm. But does dependent's application fee change based on Shortage Occ...

If you changed address then you need to report the same to UKVI via change of circumstances form. Check this out: https://www.gov.uk/change-circumstances-visa-brp and better to do it so you don't miss out any letters from UKVI. Yes, based on that info it maybe safe to assume that your case is not de...

Yes, I guess nothing stopping you from switching to company B if you apply for tier 2 visa and it's approved. The CoS from company A is used up as your application is successful. The only thing would be your joining date in A and the notice period, if any. If you don't turn up on day 1 in A, then th...
