Re: Enquiry about spouse visa

If you have no children then without her (British/ILR holder) sponsorship you won't be able to extend your visa. In my view you might be overworking or spending a lot time outside your home. If so then better to get some holidays or take reasonably some time off to spend with her which might fix thi...

Thanks for that can you tell me how the figure of 62500 is calculated please
£18600×2.5+£16000= £62500

Remember the first £16000 are excluded from calculations if you are combining the savings with income to cover the shortfall.

Yes. These should be at least £62500 and must be possessed during the last 6 months before the date of application either in uk or overseas bank.

I have friend that married like me and he told he registered at local register office after his wife came to England. So, I am in dilemma whether to register or not.
His situation may be different than yours otherwise even the registry office might not allow marriage to already married couple.

Everything else is fine with the application - we have hundreds of photos, several bills in both our names, the house is owned with no mortgage etc.

Any information or advice would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Colin.
Also don't forget A2/B1 level english language test.

Hi all, About to put in the application to go from a Tier 2 to spouse visa. Part of the requirement online is saying showing proofs of cohabitation for the past two years. We just moved in today together and I said that in the application. Shouldn't this be enough with the tenancy agreement? It's a...

How do I change my ILR expiry date now as it is now asking to pay the fees and I don't have option to edit information now? Maybe you now have to create another new account with new email. Will this fees be refunded back to me if the visa is granted? Not incase of successfully grant of visa.

There is no tax rather higher exchange rate of currency HO has the policy of charging 4% above of the Bloomberg opening rate. But still in my view you have been charged quite higher perhaps your bank might have charged too because application fee is paid usually in local currency of the applicant.
