You also need to state the reasons as written on the decision letter that why they didnt consider your application under 5 years of route.

If you hadn't got job offer which was started within 3 months since arrived then you can't use your overseas income rather either have to spend 6 months with UK employer or need to have 6 months old cash savings.

but my understanding is you can be fined for not returning old BRPs, That only applies where you have received certificate of British citizenship. https://www.gov.uk/apply-citizenship-spouse/after-you-get-your-certificate OK, I guess the FLR(M) decision letter was wrong then. Not really

To be honest I don’t think there’s more time to wait for all the letters from six employers before I apply. Not everyone gets asked about employer letter from previous employer.
