Yes that is correct payment and biometric request is the confirmation of your case acceptance or sometime you may receive acknowledgement letter.
It can take from 4 to 6 weeks.

Hi, The outcome after interview can take from weeks to months, it depends on case worker, you may have to chase them for the outcome as sometime they just do not reply after interview. Regarding switching your application to FLR, i believe you mean on the basis of 10 years completion. This is a safe...

I am waiting for over 10 months now, i asked our MP to contact Home office on my behalf to find out why the case is taking so long, and to fast track it as this is now affecting my family and work life which he did and wrote to HO office on 23 Feb 2017. I can see DL gets approval but unfortunately no luck with 5 year and tax amendments so far recently.

lets all keep this space updated with any correspondence with HO so we know what are the possible outcomes and how long it takes.

For tier1 general the limit is on the amount on which the tax is due, like in my case i am on 35K, it does not mean i show total 35K earning and out of 35K i show 12000 profit, the rest as expenses and only pay tax on 12000.
