supplementary job and ILR

Hello
If i were to do some supplementary work for another company, what sort of documentation would I need from them, if at all, when I apply for ILR?
On the guidance for T2, it only says I dont need to inform HO if I am meeting the criteria.
Thanks

Re: Tier 2 when to return old BRP?

Hi @UKLL, Thanks for the reply. Yeah in the old process (premium service) they used to keep the BRP with them. But in new service, they are returning BRP back to us and we need to cut it and send it to BRP returns. But I am not sure when I need to cut it and send it back to them after I have receiv...

How many people got their money back for delays?

Apparently some people who opted for super priority got their money back over the delays, how about the folks who used Priority?
It seems like everyone's delayed

Extension passport scanning (new service)

Hello
I am heading to my biometrics tomorrow
Can I quickly double check all I need to scan for my passport, is the page with my name on it?
I added the entry stamp on the initial visa as well, do i need to scan every stamped page too?
Thanks

Re: Tier 2 general extension, Sopra, super priority delay

How do you escalate a case? Can you do it by email?

I don't feel like paying £2.5 a minute just to be told to wait a bit more

Booked a biometrics with new services, with no confirmation email?

Hello
I wonder if anyone experienced that there is no confirmation email received after booking a biometric appointment?
I can see the appointment on the website though, there was a red box that flashed for a section when I paid, but the payment went through anyhow.
Weird
Thanks

uCos start date for extension

Hello
My current COS end date is 31/3 and BRP expires 2 weeks later
I think the extension uCOS job start date should start with 1/4, instead of 15/4, am I right in thinking this?
Otherwise there is a 2 week gap between the job end and extension job start date?
Thanks

Travelling in common travel area during extension period

Hello
If I fly from England to Scotland, do I need to present my Brp or is my driver licence sufficient?

I will be extending the visa so I assume my brp will be with home office instead

Thanks

double checking ucos dates

My current t2 rcos runs from 1/4/16 to 31/3/19, with visa expiration date 2 weeks after the job end date. I should probably get HR to put the new job start date as 1/4/19 right? I plan to apply via premium service as soon as after the new year(90days ish before start date) as I heard in the grapevin...

Re: Do I need a new Tier 2 visa?

I know from the guidance that if I am in the same code and employer, there shouldn't be a need for change of employment application The only thing is what happens with HR because they want me to 'resign' from this job to start the new one Is talking to HR the only thing I need to do because I am sur...

Do I need a new Tier 2 visa?

Bit of a weird one so I am changing my position within the same company The SOC code is the same, employed by the same company too They said technically I need to hand in my notice to start the other new job (same grade, also on shortage list) What should I say to HR? That they mustn't report me as ...

Restricted COS points table

Hello
Under immigration rules appendix A Table 11D

It gives a restricted COS for shortage occupation 130 points, but radiographers (2217) gets 30 points while it's also a shortage occupation, so would it get 130 or 30 points?
The notes under that section doesn't seem to mention that

Hi, so there is this 30k experienced migrant salary requirement now but radiographers have been exempt until July 2019. So what happens after July 2019 for those exempt occupations? Criminal certificate for switching employer

Hello
The guidance says you need a certificate for entry clearance but not for extending
What about switching employer then? It's not technically applying for permission to enter the country but then I would be applying for a new visa.

Has anyone got experience with this?

Thanks

The new rules require a criminal record check for T2 applicants.
Does that apply to extension of T2 that we need a DBS check locally?

Re: tier 2 extension queries

what documents have you given? There isn't a " guide to supporting documents" like the one when applying for the first time.

1) unlimited cos ( i assume)
2) maintenance+english not required so nothing at all?
3)biometric
4) current passport

do you need to give a photo as well? BRP?
Thanks
