Re: Need to change driving licence-shall I use the new DL for Naturalisation application

You don't need your Driving Licence for citizenship. You'll need your ILR, passport, LITUK test result and proof of having lived here for the required period of time (if you're non-EEA past visas and the stamps in your passport would suffice). If you're married to a UK citizen, you'll need your par...

Re: B1 english test

Nothing happens if I don't get a citizenship. When I expire PR, I can renew it? Is that right? PR doesn't expire. If Brexit happens and UK leaves EU, you will need to exchange your PR for settlement status (cannot do that right now as EU Settlement Scheme will go live by 29th March). But don't forg...

I have applied for Permanent Residence a few days ago and will provide the documents via the European Passport Return service on Tuesday. What I'm unsure about is how this all looks with Brexit ah...

Interestingly, it mentions "Applications for registration as a British citizen under sections 4C, 4F, 4G, 4H and 4I where the only ground for refusal is where the applicant does not meet the good character requirement, will remain on hold until further notice.". Therefore, I would guess, if you woul...

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Both referees look good to me. I believe they need to sign 2 separate declaration forms. Maybe CR001 can confirm that for reassurance. SidiBou Well, if you want to follow Home Office's protocol it will be 2 separate forms. That's what they give you when you apply online (2 separate forms to downloa...

Have you sent them an email previously?

They are essentially just saying they aim to reply to your email within 20 working days and ask not to spam them with emails in case you have submitted your naturalisation application less than 6 months ago.

Application date is date of submission and payment online for citizenship.
Ah, yes, forgot this part, true! CR001 as always to the rescue.

Essentially, 0 time difference then.
But might have to spend money on travelling & on appointment time that suits your work schedule. 😕
