Re: Email from HO , Please Help

Hi Discretion,

Thanks for the reply, and congratulations on getting your application done and dusted. Actually I applied in the beginning of August, and I got the confirmation on 07th August... so based on the timelines on this forum, my application is delayed...and I don't know why... :(

Re: Email from HO , Please Help

I emailed them after seeing this thread and then waited for a week and I got no reply. At that time I had given my case id only (and assumed that they would see my name from my email address). On friday evening, I have emailed them again giving them my full name, date of birth, case id and address. ...

Yes- I did add my wife's details. (You have to, as the eligibility requires both parents to be working)..However, only the ILR holder can apply :)

Do you have any opinion on why the link on the gov website suggests otherwise?

ILR for PBS Dependant after the main applicant had ILR

Hi everyone, I want to inquire about the eligibility of PBS dependants (Tier 2 in my case) for ILR. Although my wife would only be eligible in 2021, I'd like to check something that is worrisome now after a friend pointed out. I have already acquired my ILR based on Tier 2 in July 2017 (and would ap...

30 hours childcare , one parent ILR

I am on ILR and both my wife and son are on Tier 2 dependant visa. I am struggling to find answer to my question from a reliable source, regarding eligibility for the 30 hours free childcare whilst living in England. I 'think' that I am eligible to apply as I do have recourse to public funds..but a ...

Re: Will there be any impact in ILR process if there is a gap of four months without salary between jobs ?

so based on the dates, if your last day was 18th June, you should have applied for the new visa by 18th August to ensure that continuity is not broken. On which date did you apply for the new visa?

Re: Will there be any impact in ILR process if there is a gap of four months without salary between jobs ?

In order to be considered to have continuity for ILR based on Tier 2, the number of days from "last day at previous sponsor" to the day of applying for Tier 2 visa for the new sponsor should not exceed 60 days. If it does, continuity is broken.

Re: FEE Increase 2018?

The estimate I am suggesting is a sum of ILR postal fee + the one day premium fee. Currently, the one day fee stands at 590 (rising from 400) and the postal fee 2297 (rising from 1875). This amounts to a total of 2887 for a one day ILR appointment. The 3250 limit that you are suggesting is for the s...

Re: FEE Increase 2018?

the current total fee for premium appointment for ILR is about 2900 (2287 to be precise I think). Expect this to increase to about 3600-3700 in April 2018 based on the percentage increases to date. Of course, this is just a guess based on recent pattern and you have to wait for March to see the actu...

Re: ILR cautionary tale: Take ALL bank statements and a char

If you had only googled "Tier 2 Policy guidance", it has a section on requirements for settlement. And on page 62, it states exactly what documents are required. All that is required is a letter from employer , most recent payslip and bank statement showing the payment of your salary, as shown on yo...

Re: ILR Absences - Date discrepancy

Put the date when you actually left UK. It is common sense that you might arrive on a later date if you fly east. Quit worrying, it's a non issue and if everything else is fine, you will get your Ilr approval on the day :)
