Re: Sponsor licence revoked

Presumably she had T2 Dependant visa previously because her partner had/has T2 visa. Either she tries to find another employer who is willing to sponsor or get back on T2 dependant...Can't she get back on T2 dependant ?

Re: Completion of Contract

Your visa expiry date will be in line with the contract you had. Actually you should be able to see some extra days granted to you on top of your end of contract date (assuming you were not on Tier 2 when you started) and those are supposed to be grace period. Nevertheless, generally the Home Office...

Re: Tier 2 General VISA_Sponsorship Revoked

Check this for the last point (https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/tier_2_dependent_extension_why_a) If the principle migrant changes employer, the dependants do not need to reapply provided their existing visa is valid. In your particular case, if the visa is indeed curtailed, then it would pres...

Re: Urgent: New born baby visa issue

(1): Yes, your daughter needs visa (she wouldn't have if she was born inside UK and was not travelling outside) (2): Yes, it is possible and home office has no issue/concern with her job, that would be between your wife and her company (as she is on a dependent visa, and not Tier 2) (3): Others can ...

I disagree. You are allowed to work upto 20 hours per week in addition to your current job on Tier 2 provided it meets certain conditions which are: (taken directly from the guidelines on page 54, found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/514054/Tier_2_Pol...

Re: Tier 2 extension and Dependant visa question

Tier 2 visa is attached to an employer. Whether you can apply for extension or not will depend on your current employer or any new employer who is willing to sponsor you and you will need a certificate of sponsorship. Assuming you have that part sorted, you can first apply for Tier 2 extension visa ...

Re: Tier 2 General Dependent Visa - Marriage Subsistence Let

Just to update, Visa granted to both my son and wife :)
But given the amount of anxiety and concern, my advice to any others making their application is to submit further evidence of relationship (emails, pictures etc.) although the guidance documents do not talk about it..just to be sure..

Re: Relationship subsistence

I ended up not submitting any further documents as I was advised against it. Anyway, just to update, my wife and son got the tier 2 dependant visa. The total time it took from submitting documents to getting passports was 14 days!

Re: Tier 2 General Dependent Visa - Marriage Subsistence Let

What exactly is a marriage subsistence letter?
Or is it just a cover letter saying that I am inviting my wife and son to come to UK and live with me?

Re: Relationship subsistence

Thanks for the reply. This is really worrying to know that it can depend on chance. It is quite unfair to expect extra documents (like communication record etc.) when no such thing is mentioned in the PBS documents. I would have imagined that a birth certificate, marriage certificate and my cover le...

Hi there, I have asked a similar question but my case is slightly different than yours. I had a similar concern though as my child did have a single GP appointment but I was no...

Dear all, I am currently living in the UK on Tier 2 (general) and I am about to apply for a Tier 2 dependent visa for my 1 year old son and my wife. While filling the online form for my son, there is a question "Have you ever received medical treatment in the UK?" and if you select yes, it asks for ...
