Re: Eu1A unmarried couple temporary stamp4 refused

afaik for unmarried couple the requirement was to prove 2 years or more cohabitation, that is the same if an Irish person wants to bring in a non-eu spouse.
Either wait until u can prove 2 years, or get married.

Re: Application received in Dublin Office

You are mixing the visa with the resident card.

If you are here already, u mentioned u got the temporary stamp, u have to wait 10 months to get the decision.

We got our eu4fam approval after 8.5 months.

i guess the first thing is to legalize ur partner`s situation, if ur child is irish (not spanish only) that u can u the zambrano case, that will take 1 year or more to go trough http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Applications%20for%20Permission%20to%20remain%20in%20the%20State%20on%20basis%20of%20...

Re: cheapes-quickest self suffiency resident card in EU

update to my own topic: -we entered Ireland with my fillipino wife 02/2017 (IO was an idiot, had to argue for half hour cause he was incompetent for his job) -we had all the paperworks for supporting the eu1 application, so applied in few days -she got the gnib card with stamp4 in 4 weeks, expiring ...

Re: cheapes-quickest self suffiency resident card in EU

apply for stamp4 of course, that will allow you to work legally in ireland, but be carefull, if you are more than 3 months out of the country immigration could be a b*tch and revoke the stamp4. Btw, you as a non visa required citzizen, IO will be friendly to you, cause u have rights to enter the cou...

Re: Temporary stamp 4 but No GNIB Card

as i see u applied as a permitted family member, cause ur father is UK citizen, can i ask how old are u? I think there is a limitation maybe 21, if u are older maybe the directive doesnt apply to u, if you are under 18 u cant even work or very limited hours and jobs. Normally u get the gnib card wit...

Re: Surrinder Singh application advice

Using the SS route has another advantage, your spouse wont require visa when traveling in the EU, which i guess you want to, everyone goes to Spain for holidays for ex., normally your spouse needs a Schengen visa from that county, like Spain, and a re-entry visa for Ireland, both is free for you (ex...

that is why it is called temporary! stamp 4, at that moment they cannot fully establish if they really fall under the freedom of movement directive, and until the decision they are given a chance to work legally, in general what country could you survive without working, especially Ireland is really...

took them 2 weeks to manufacture the gnib card with stamp 4 , but that is sorted now.
Took only 6 weeks to get all paperwork sorted from date of arrival, cant complain.
Now we just wait for eu4fam card.

atm ur not in Ireland so that makes a bit more difficult, would be easier if u set urself up already in here. U still have the right though to get this Visa C. Re: Extension past 3 months?

The answer is the same, i meant it from the point of view of freedom movement directive. As a UK citizen he can stay in Ireland cause automatically he is a permanent resident BUT that is NOT based on 2004/38 directive (that comes after 5 years of continuous residency), but because UK and Ireland hav...

Re: Entering Ireland with EU-spouse without visa

Has anyone tried to enter Ireland from the sea border with the EU-spouse without any visa at all? This seems to be the most viable option for a "travel" given the current situation with visa processing times. Thanks again for any input. No, you cant, without visa your only option is an article 10 c...

In less than 4 weeks we got approval for temporary stamp 4, id like to think it is because im registered permanent resident here, making the process faster, though they still want to see my p60, payslips, so it looks there is no automatic rights for her without me actually exercising one of the eu t...

Re: A bit of complicated issue. Please help!

Honestly i think your only chance - at least under eu treaty rights - is that your spouse will relocate to Ireland and starts to work, asap. Ive seen in this forum few people in similar situation and they were refused by INIS for permanent resident card, or retention of rights. Also you could leave ...

If he has good chances to find a job than about 6 months is still acceptable, in case you have to prove your genuine chance somehow, btw it is harder to find rent than a job in Ireland at the moment, that is not the time to be picky, get whatever employment he can get with at least 20-25 hours/week....

Re: A bit of complicated issue. Please help!

The best is to argue that your spouse did not leave the country and you for forever, but it is only a temporary situation. But basically you are in a bad position, under eu treaty rights you only have rights to be here if your spouse is working/studying/residing with sufficient resources. You could ...

Eutr is almost impossible for u, starting with a visa, especially if u are applying from an Asian country.
RC in Ireland would only work for u if u are married to Eu citizen but not Irish.
Or maybe u can get work permit on your own as u have college degree.
