There must be another page your friend received with the reasons for refusal?

The attached page simply explains who qualifies for the visa application

Re: Help in filling EUTR1 form

Hi shpirtshqipe Many thanks for your answer, I also however got a similar feedback from some else that once an initial application is failed, any subsequent application goes to the repatriation unit? Is this really true? I will answer No to the question as suggested. I wasnt sure if I was to answer...

Re: Help in filling EUTR1 form

Hi Capicorn. The new application will take ages. Any application or letter will go to repatriation unit now. They will not issue any temporary stamp. My new application is pending for 3 years. If you have to stay in Ireland and case in genuine, take the judicial review. Hi Capricorn The answer shou...

So far the Irish government hasn’t made any further updates on the subject since the last news posted on this forum. See link https://www.immigrationboards.com/ireland/new-for-eufam-stamp-holders-of-british-citizens-in-case-of-no-deal-t276947.html Assuming the above remains unchanged, deal or no dea...

Re: British Citizen Planning to bring my old Parenst to Ireand

Firstly, are your parents dependent on you and will you be able to provide proof of your parents dependency on you over a period of time? Secondly, will you be able to bring them to ireland and apply for the residence card before the end of January assuming Brexit goes ahead? The above are the 2 mos...

Involving your second brother in this process would be dependent on the reasons why you were refused the EUFAM.

Sharing perhaps the main reasons for your refusal will be helpful so other members here may be able to give their opinion and or experiences.

Re: EU citizen and non EU qualifying family member

You don’t need a residence card per se. By 3 months of you being here in Ireland and established yourself with a job, rent, bank, paying taxes, utility bills will qualify you as an “ordinary resident” in Ireland. So by the end of January providing Brexit officially happens you’d have been over 3 mon...

Health insurance: I did not say it isn’t compulsory but that there is no minimum requirement on the level of private health insurance cover you take. You and your parent will need the private health insurance for the purpose of the application (this is asked on the application form). As I said choos...

Re: EU citizen and non EU qualifying family member

You are doing all the right things to establish yourself but I would suggest you take a second job to show immediate income whilst waiting for your self employment to generate income, tax etc. I would assume minimum wage earnings would be a good starting point. Healthcare is simple. For your purpose...

Re: Ferry- UK to Dublin

If you’ve been travelling alone to the UK with the EUFAM Stamp and you’re from a visa requiring country originally then you’ve been very lucky indeed. Firstly being able to cross into the UK (unless of course you’re in possession of a valid appropriate visa) and secondly not asked at the Irish borde...

You need to be more specific on the circumstances of refusal than just saying “wrong parts” if you want this forum to provide guidance. For example what was your legal status in Ireland on application for permit and the reasons given on the refusal letter by INIS?

Re: No visa and having an Irish baby

Hi The last reply is the one you should consider the most. As for your PPSN Number don’t worry because the father of your child will be able to register the baby under his name. Given you’re categorically the biological mother, they’ll have no choice but to include your name in the birth certificate...

Thanks. That is very helpful. Glad the department has plans. One can only hope rights are not reduced.

Was the letter sent by registered post or normal post.
Let’s hope they don’t reduce the rights indeed.

It sounds like the decision has been largely made on the basis of your parents status back home so it would be useful to know what type of evidence they submitted with the application for EUFAM. Here are some scenarios to consider: Usually dependency is best proven when you provide evidence of near ...
