Re: Citizenship Ceremony cancelled due to Covid-19

This is what I got from my southwark Council Thank you for your email. For the moment, we sadly do not know when the Government and the General Register Office will allow us to reconvene citizenship ceremonies. In the mean time, we have to follow the guidelines and avoid non-essential face to face ...

IT asks for two referees and my undertanding is that one of them needed to have professional involvement with the child. I have called the health visitor a...

Re: Heartless government to increase IHS from £400 to £625 as part of hostile policy

I was about to make a post on this topic, but on searching the forum I realised someone already did 2 months ago. So no need to start a new one, I can just add my opinion here. I must say that it was interesting reading this thread with the arguments for and against the increase. • Everyone should p...

UKVCAS Service points to reopen

UKVCAS service centres will not start opening for appointment from 1st June. I guess not appointments will be available in the first couple of weeks of reopening as they will still be maintaining social distance as they reopen.

Thanks for the response CR001. I came to UK on Tier 2 General visa (3 years). Applied for an extension and then for ILR (in UK). Does all the three applications qualify for immigration applications? Re: Moving Abroad Around Time of Citizenship Eligibility

And I want to add that you will have to pay tax to the HMRC on that your "hefty pay". This is because you will need to remain a UK resident while working abroad, if you intend to apply for citizenship 6 months later. So if you decide to take the job, you might need to notify HMRC. Avoiding to pay yo...

Cause the application fee was not cheap anyway, do not want to spend the money in re-applying again . If you are going to c...

Thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention that the extra shift (bank shift) have different pay slip because we are being paid by the same employer weekly for that. Does this matter? it doesn't matter if you have a different payslip for the extra hours. As long as you are with the same sponsor a...

Thanks for the feedback - it doesn't sound very encouraging!
The HMPO staff are human beings whose health and well being come should be put above any passport. So yes, the updates might not be encouraging, Covid-19 is affecting everyone one way or another. we all have to be patient.

Hello, I need clarification please. I am a registered nurse working with the NHS as my sponsor.
