Re: Will I be considered overstay if I withdraw visa extensi

I believe that you will become an overstayer , starting after your application is withdrawn . However, departing within 90 days should be okay for future visa applications. The HO should give some time like 28 days to leave the country in the withdrawal letter (as they do in refusal letters in some...

Re: Application Withdrawn Scenario

It means that you are covered under Section 3C until you withdraw . Just read the similar case through the link, but the answers are not clear and no one had the exact answer. I think it should not be considered as over stayer or illegal as the application was in process and until it's in process, ...

Application Withdrawn Scenario

ILR application submitted. Waited 3 months, no response. Decided to withdraw application and leave country due to circumstances. Re: My passport is not available, Can I Apply?

Clearly a receipt from some embassy does not constitute any sort of proof of identity. You need to sort out your priorities and decide when you are ready to apply in UK. If you don't submit adequate supporting evidence for such a serious application then you can probably imagine the result yourself...

Re: My passport is not available, Can I Apply?

Voluntarily submitting your passport to another embassy is a circumstance under your control. You had a choice of submitting it or not. So, that argument won't fly. passport is already in another embassy for visa application which is similarly important as is this one? Are you applying for a reside...

Re: My passport is not available, Can I Apply?

No, you have to send your passport for any application you make to HO. But the ILR form page 71 about passport info says: In accordance with paragraph 34 of the Immigration Rules, you must provide your original, valid passport, travel document or national identity card as evidence of your identity ...

Student visa Maintenance funds can be in 2 accounts?

I have a query, my friend is applying for student visa, he has got the required maintenance funds for 28 days but split into 2 different bank accounts (both his personal accounts). Will it be acceptable to show the funds from 2 accounts?

The point of this topic is not the reason for a refusal and there is no need to go down that path again. (how d...

Re: Can HO cancel Driving Licence and Bank accounts?

Yes the HO does revoke driving license , Mine was revoked upon attending an interview in Croydon. I was invited for an interview after which i was detained whilst they issued me a refusal letter for my pending application. Re: Old or amended figures by HO from HMRC?

Home Office don't have access to amended returns data and HMRC don't update out of date tax returns online apart from tax overview that also shows any interests/penalties paid as a result of any amendments. I would suggest to submit revised paper sa302s from hmrc and tax overview for the amended ret...

There is a search option. I see it at top of almost every page. Just tried again and realised the fault, not sure but looks like it's the website fault. It is not necessary to start a new topic with each question you have on the same application. See Multiple Posts/Topics (click) Ok, but the nature of question was different, I hope you could answer it. Also I am not sure if it's the right place to complain or not but I tried hard to find the search...

Old or amended figures by HO from HMRC?

I have amended tax return, sa302 not updated as HMRC says it cannot be updated any more for previous years, the sa302 is still showing old figures but the online tax year overview show the new figures of tax only. My question is what figures HO get from HMRC in case of any verification, the old ones...

Re: Tax payment after amendment is must?

was told tax payment is not required by HO as it's something between you and HMRC. Its not between YOU and HMRC, if it was the case then there would not have been so many refusals from Home Office on tax affairs. Home Office expect you to pay tax on declared earnings to HMRC at the time. It is not ...

Re: Tier 1 general ILR application after tax ammendment

Hi jan39, Not sure how HMRC is dealing, but they have updated my SA302 for 2013-2014(actually for 2013-2014 I have reduced the dividend amount which I declared first time), for 2012-2013 they have sent me a tax statement(separate letter). @richtich, even in my friend cousin case, HMRC not updated S...

Tax payment after amendment is must?

Amended tax return recently, got a update tax bill from HMRC, haven't paid yet, was told tax payment is not required by HO as it's something between you and HMRC. Want to pay tax in instalments or after 3-4 months as cannot afford right now.
Any views or info?
Thank you

Re: Tier 1 general ILR application after tax ammendment

Hi Nasir, Yes, HMRC is not updating SA302 just sending amendment letter. Actually I have made two years amendments 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, for 2012-2013 HMRC sent me a separate letter(not updated SA302) but for 2013-2014 HMRC updated my SA302. HMRC said they can only update SA302 from 2013-2014 on...
