No. For the total number of days out you DO NOT count day of departure and date of return. You only count WHOLE days out of the UK. In your example, you would only have been absence for ONE day.
Thanks. That's a relief

Re: URGENT - No. of Days Calculation

I have some good news. Your calculation is wrong the day you leave and day you arrive are NOT included in count so for example your trip 9-11 Feb 2018 is only one day out of the UK and 20-21 october 2017 zero days (though you have to list it) as per my understanding, a day outside of UK is calculat...

Re: T1E Parent

The UK does not allow chain migration so your only option is a visitor visa and if your mother is seen as abusing this and 'residing' in the UK and just 'visiting', she can be denied entry and/or a visa as she is not a genuine visitor. As a visitor, she also has no free access to NHS and will have ...

Re: T1E Parent

ILR is at least is 3 years (accelerated route) or 5 years down the lane. Long term visitor visa (2 or 5 years) does suit where she can stay for 180 days at a stretch before a re-entry but the guidance does also say that an entry to the UK can be refused if Border Agency feels that she is planning to...
