Re: Priority/Super Priority for BRP Renewal Applications

BRP replacement is not a visa application so unlikely that priority is available.

Re: Naturalisation document (cert of birth)

I think I provided my opinion on this from all angles - in the end you make the decision and move this on.
Every lawyer you consult will give you a slightly different opinion, or sometimes even a wrong opinion.

This cannot be deception - it's an error.
For peace of mind attach a cover note explaining.

Re: Naturalization: Is resident status violated if absence was greater than 180 days at a stretch?

There is no such "180 days" requirement. The only similar requirement is that your absences should not exceed 90 days in the 12 months preceding your application. I understood that is the case from all the reading I could do, but a solicitor wrote to me the following and I am wondering what that is...

You don't need to submit a P45. P60s are sufficient - one per year.

Re: The requirement of "Write name and date on back of photo and glue to referee form"?

This goes back to the days of the paper application - in case the glued-on picture detached and got lost during processing it could be matched back to the application, if found. The form hasn't been updated since (also there are some instances where paper applications are still permitted). For loadi...

Re: Naturalisation document (cert of birth)

Many applicants attach covering notes having missed something on the application, made mistakes, etc. All applications are individual. Can't see how applicants are penalised for that. The reasons for refusal are very few, primarily for issues around statutory requirements. Not sure what else can be ...

Re: list of documents needed for a relative to visit from non EU counry to the UK please?

I assume you should get instructions at the end of the application as to what documents to provide (or load) and next steps, i.e. if appointments are needed. Perhaps other members here can comment as to the exact process. Also see: https://www.immigrationboards.com/general-uk-immigration-forum/list-...

The visa is a "visitor visa" - https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor
Best to review this link. Not sure whether documents need to be translated.

Re: Proof of Settled Status for Naturalisation

The referees are not required to review your application - they certify to the statements on the referee form, i.e. they know you, etc. They are not required to know all your personal arrangements. Referees are not contacted so UKVI don't test them on how well they know you. I didn't let my referees...

Re: Immigration history

It has been 4months since the application was submitted and 3months for the biometrics. I wonder why does it take so long when they have most of our details in their record? There is one "Service Level Standard" that UKVI quote for naturalisation: 6 months. Naturalisation isn't the same as an immig...

Re: EU settlement scheme family permit - what is the next step?

Your mother needs to apply for the EU pre-Settled Status. https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families/applying-for-settled-status Permit is not a visa, it's just there to facilitate entry to the UK. Thank you very much for that. How about getting her an ID card though? As your mother is ...

Re: Help Needed

All you can do is write a letter to the same address you sent the application to. As you haven't got a reference number attach a copy of the personal detail pages, and proof of receipt (Royal Mail Track). The normal way these days is to apply online where you would at least get payment confirmation ...

Sincere apologies, alterhase58 Respected Guru That's ok ... If you withdraw the application now she will loose the application fee apart from £80 for ceremony not attended. Re: Forgot to mention one application to UKVI in BC application

I don't believe "TOC" is an immigration application - you are just transferring the vignette/stamp in your passport to a BRP card, it's not a new application.

Re: disclosure of child with ex partner in naturalization application

Your are overthinking this - arranging child support is a private matter between you and the mother/child. Anyone wanting a visa needs to be able to satisfy the requirements at the time - as such you are not obliged to give assistance for this. And once you are British nobody will be delving into yo...

Re: Travel abroad during MN1 application

You are assuming that the application will be approved in about two to three months. In that case they may have your daughter as British on the system and could confiscate the BRP - but if she's British she cannot be refused entry to the UK as she will have "right of abode" as a British citizen. But...
