You can get any professional referee who knows you for 2 years, not necessarily knows the child. Just ask the person who signed for as your referee.

Having debts will not revoke your citizenship, however running away from creditors may be classed as fraud or criminal activity especially if creditors file a complaint. British citizenship is a privilege not a right, so you can loose it in extreme case. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/britishciti...

This is indeed "Insane". I think they have obligation to send the invitation letter to right address, call your local council where you will have ceremony and explain the situation, they will tell you if you can book ceremony and attend.

You don't need NI number as other have already confirmed.
So, are you saying that because that meteor did not hit us, and HO is celebrating by not requiring NI numbers?
lol, they may be who knows, as such they usually don't celebrate anything...

As such it does not make any difference, the things they check is the details you filled on form matches your current passport and name and number on citizenship certificate, if your referee has filled form correctly and signed a photo, and...

Congrats Derivaz, good to know no mistakes. You can wait until January for your passport as it does not make any difference to you, but then I would say just get it done now itself while you are in the citizenship spirit, also then you can tuck away the citizenship certificate safely. It just takes ...

It is very very very rare HO will deprive someone of citizenship, as Ayyubi mentioned it will render a person stateless. Further, if someone commits crime here, they would like the trial to be held here and punish here as well.

You just have to weigh the benefits, the price £200. If you are not in a hurry to go anywhere and can do with current ILR then wait.

I understand that after having to wait 12 years and spending thousands of pounds, another £200 is almost nothing.
