Congrats Neoseal. Whats the next step for you, if any, after passport? After the passport, he can forget about all this process :D then he will go on world tour. 173 countries VISA free or VISA on arrival with UK passport Ha ha, I really want to go, anyone to accompany me...bagpacking...adventure.....

I doubt your citizenship certificate will be useless to an imposter, they have their ways of putting it to good use, basically cloning you :wink:

There is tatkal passport facility. Check it out online. Even normal passport application are dealt very quickly now. Very recently my dad's passport renewal was done within a week on normal application.

Ya each council works in their own way. As a matter of security, what happens if someone else goes with your invitation letter? Unless they have kept your photograph on their system if you applied thru NCS. I personally think they should ask for id.

You will need to show the passport on which you booked the tickets. If you booked tickets on Indian Passport then on return this can be tricky, as your Indian passport will not show ILR sticker, and airline staff may be funny asking for UK visa and if you show your UK passport, they may ask further ...

Just answer the question to the point. If they have asked "yes" or "no", just put yes or no. Give reason or explanation if they have asked for it, otherwise not. Most likely, you will get an interview before your application is approved, one of my friend whose Australia visa was rejected and applied...

Divorce can be costly, however costs can be recouped from other party. Depends on what judge rule. Ask her to contact a lawyer some government organisation who can help for free. Information may be available from service canada or any library. You may want to post on Canadavisa.com forum as well.

There is no way to prove the 3 year knowing thing, however the referees must be happy to sign and more so if UKBA calls to verify, they must answer "more than 3 years".

As VR said it is critical to apply before 28 Oct with new rules coming in after that.
