Re: ILR Set (O) UKVCAS - Original Documents and Change in postal address

They will only scan your passports (regardless of you having uploaded or not) and take your biometrics. In theory, the should check all your original documents against what are uploaded but they did not. You however should bring all of them, just in case. Upload all documents before appointment to s...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

When I contacted UKVI helpline, I got this message about 30 minutes after the call. But few minutes after that, I got email from caseworker. So, it is kind of standard email but it means your application has not been touched yet. Got this email today @9:35 am. Don't know what to do now. Thank you fo...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

My best guess is staff at Premium Offices (PO) will now do the Super Priority Service and so applications from 57 centers will be allocated to each PO, and then to each caseworker. This causes the disparity in timing because it depends on how quick each caseworker/PO does their job. If individual ca...

Re: Email from DX for delivery of BRP

1. Most of the time it is BRP, so congratulations in advance! 2. You can use any ID, but DX agent does not always require to see anything, just sign it. I have applied ILR from T1E route, submitted on 30th Aug. Today I have received a email from DX saying there are delivering my BRP today. But the t...

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

Once you have given the biometrics, you cannot travel with old BRP. It has been reported by a member that it is fine to submit before the 28 days but appointment must be within 28 days. Hi all I have attended my appointment in London premium Lounge on Wednesday 5 December. I was told that the UKVI s...

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

Hi all, I have just looked at my letter and found that it says the following: If you hold a BRP because your leave has expired, or you were issued with a replacement you must now return it to the Home Office as it no longer valid. You should cut the card in half and post it in a plain, windowless en...

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

Congratulations. You should call DX. If it was approved on 6th then it is very hopeful that you will get BRP on Monday or Tuesday next week. Just received my letter saying ILR has been approved. Timeline: 22 Nov: Online application submitted 3 Dec: Biometrics and document checking at 20 Mark Lane (S...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Guys, if you receive an email saying your application is not complete, it is likely that your application was not submitted after your biometrics appointment. On the day of appointment, I asked to see the receipt and they were nicely showing me their screen. Basically I guess they have three options...

Re: Travelling during ILR application

Oh, sorry. I missed the "biometrics". Yes, so just to re-confirm: We can't travel after we have given biometrics. But we can travel between application submitted and biometrics appointment.

I used to raise this question. My lawyer said it is fine you can travel before your biometrics appointment under the new system.

What kind of mistake? You can talk with the staff at appointment center to take a note or upload a covering letter.

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

What you can do is to search for appointment and book if they are available. It does not guarantee that you will get next day appointment at the center you want, but your chance is high if you search for a number of centers. Hi everyone, Does anyone know if it's now possible to book Same Day or Next...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I am sure you will be contacted soon. They also told me to wait for 3-5 workings for someone to contact. I contacted the helpline just now, going through options 4 and 1. Had appointment Friday morning in London premium centre, so it's been four calendar days now. Fortunate enough to get someone who...

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

You should use this site to locate the centers you may want to search for first: https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/locations. Then, you can take the postcode of the center you want and enter it in the search for your appointment.

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

I can confirm also that what CR001 said is correct. You can do a simple google search for it. @CR001 Is there a home office document that can confirm the following statement from you in one of replies in this post: "You are looking at a topic from 2017, the rules have changed since then (earlier thi...

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

You should bring the original copies just in case. And yes, it is fairly easy to find an appointment next day but you might have to choose centers not close to you. Most people choose free appointments so if you do not mind paying £100 per applicant then it should be easy. Thank you for the feedback...

Re: ILR Online Application and Biometrics - Set(o)

But clearly, you can book an appointment anytime within 2 months. You should better call ...

Re: How do you get an appointment via UKVCAS?

The fact that your application is strait forward does not mean that you can easily book an appointment you want. You can change your postcode to look for other centers in other cities. If they are not available, it simply implies that they are booked. You have to wait or pay for early appointments b...

If there had been any problem, they would have contacted you already. Two possibilities: they have not touched your application yet, or you will get your letters/BRP suddenly.

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

This email suggests that it is hopeful to get some refund. From their service adverts, the super priority is within 24 hours and the priority is within 10 working days. The gap between these two service options is £100. So, it is likely that a refund of £100 could be given if the decision was made w...
