Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

Congratulations Winshee! It looks like that they had to work on Saturday (17th Nov). It seems they have got too many applications more than they had expected when promising 24 hours turnaround. Hi Josh Finally, I have just received my approval letter (Royal mail) stating my BRP will arrive in 7 work...

It looks like that for Tier 2 (General) to ILR, all documents should be submitted to Mandatory documents category.

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

It means they will wait for 5 days for you to supply the document. The sooner you supply, the sooner they make the decision. But if you can't supply within 5 days, they will make decision based on what they have.

Re: New Service SOPRA Premium

If you paid 3018 then it would be Super Priority -> decision is expected within 24 hours from your biometrics taken.

Booking an appointment is another different part of the application. Basically, Sopra just takes your biometrics, it does not involve in decision making.

Hi Kevac and Winshee, sorry to hear that you have not heard anything! Some people suggested calling DX Courier - letters might have been with them. Keep us updated on your outcome! Good luck.

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

If you read this topic through, some people reporting they got the decision after 24 hours but also some not, especially those got appoint on 13 Nov in Birmingham and there was a technical issue. When did you book your appointment? Was it easy to book for an appointment within a week? hi, I have the...

Re: Premium Service appointment booking issue for ILR (LR)

I think they have been already scheduled for opening from 19th November as per the announcement presentation in October. For anyone on the new application path who has been waiting for the new enhanced service points to be available for booking from today, I just spoke to Sopra Steria and they said ...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

Dear Winshee, Thank you for this. However, in your case, were the ealier appointments popped up on your screen with higher prices or they were not? Hi Winshee, do you mean the 5 day lead time is the best you can get at your chosen postcode or you could book elsewhere sooner or could pay higher to ge...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Hi mginn79! Thank you for sharing your experience. I have a question about passport scan/upload: do we need to scan/upload all pages (including blank pages and cover page) or just pages with stamps/signs on?

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

I hope someone successfully experienced the new system can clarify this for me and also for new applicants:

Do we need to scan/upload all pages of the passport (including blank pages and caver page) or just the pages with stamps/signs on?

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

It seems to me that those who reported late decisions from super priority service mostly came to Birmingham service point on 13 Nov. Is there anyone having same problem from other service centers?

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

Thank you CR001. And sorry I have to ask one more question about the qualifying period for dependents. Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

Can anyone advise on this matter? In the online form, there is a question about National Identity Card: Do you have a valid national identity card? and it is specific to the country of my nationality. I have one, but it is in foreign language. Should I answer Yes or No? If I answer Yes, I am concern...

So now I am able to prepare the documents I need and upload them to the new system. Please could experienced members have a look and see if all looks okay? Main Applicant (Tier 2 General) 1. Re: Consent form ILR online application

Hi Munsey,

Can you share your experience regarding booking an appointment. Is it easy to find an appointment within 5 days? Does it offer appointments at weekend - and if yes how much does it cost per applicant?

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

I have looked at the service points near me and all of they show the following: Opening hours Mon - Fri 8am to 6pm Saturday Sunday Does it mean they open also on Saturday and Sunday for out-of-business hours booking? I know we can book free appointments at core service points. But does anybody have ...

Re: Consent form ILR online application

Hello munsey, congratulations. I have read your post and find this sentence confusing: "As noted above, I have absent for a total of 39 days (which exceeds the 30 day discretion limit). Although, it was actually taken across two "holiday years" of the company. Is this going to be an issue?" What do ...

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

I have not applied yet ntt but thinking about applying soon. I have few more questions: 1. On my Entry Clearance, it says "valid from..." is this the date that counts for continuous period? I ask because the guideline mentions the "issue date" but I guess it must be the same meaning. 2. I booked hol...

Re: Submitted Online Form today - have I applied to early?

I did not have experience with your situation but what I tell is from reading the guideline and others' experience shared in this forum. So: Your wife is eligible to apply from 28/11/2018. Date of decision: if you book for biometrics taken on or after 28/11/2018, it is fine. Any date up to 28 days a...

Re: ILR Eligibility - Continuous period

So, it is correct that 1 day and 0 day are answers for trips 12/11/2018 - 14/11/2018 and 12/11-2018 - 13/11/2018?
