Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

Hi manibala, have you got your BRP yet? As mentioned earlier I submitted my ILR application on Thursday 22nd at 12pm on Manchester Branch Set(O). Paid 3108£. Its been 4 days still haven't heard anything. Called UKVI this morning at 9:30am, they said we must leave upto 5 working days to get response....

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

Hi TheDon, have you received your BRP through DX or Royal Mail? This forum's been quite helpful for me so thought I'll tag my experience to an existing thread. I've applied for ILR via new service. I had the option to use old or new service and opted for new. I live in London. When I submitted my ap...

Re: Driving insurance in first year of visa

He can drive with his foreign license up to 12 months and buy insurance on his name. It is a bit more expensive than if he has a UK licence but not very much. He should get UK license as soon as possible.

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

Hi Makky, Congratulations! It would be useful for those intending to pay for super priority service to form a decision time pattern if you could let us know when was the decision made and if there was any communication in between or if you have called UKVI before receiving the BRP? ** Update ** I re...

Re: Timeline for new super priority service

@griftah1981: I think in your case, it is evident that they did keep promise for 24 hour service (16th-Friday submitted and you got email on 19th -Monday)) and the decision they made was to do more checks.

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

I guess they have a shortage of staff. It is actually a double workload as two systems coexist. Hopefully, from tomorrow when the existing premium service closes (is it today its last day?) the speed of communication will be improved and they will be able to keep their 24 hour service promise.

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

You exchange for new one - just like your driving license or passport. People who have got the ilr recently, just curious, how long is it valid for? Mine is valid until 2024 but I was under the impression that it would not have an expiry. Does anyone know what needs to be done at in 2024. Appreciate...

Re: Timeline for new super priority service

Can you share your full story griftah1981? It is useful for us to know your full story because 11 days seems to be alarming for those intending using super priority service. i applied november 16. it has been 11 days of waiting now. i called them and said there was no decision yet. i have used the s...

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

I guess you may get it today or tomorrow at your door. Hi I had my appointment(Premium service) in Birmingham centre on 15...

Congratulations vikm! It seems that it all works finally. Right, an update guys. Came back from work to see a note from Royal Mail saying that they have got a letter for me. Went to the post office and collected it. It was a letter saying my ILR application is approved and that I would get the BRP w...

Congratulations Kenvac! Did you mean you receive the BRP card or the letter? When was it approved? I think somebody has mentioned the date 31/12/2024 as something about law change by then. It is very unfortunate to hear. Why did they know your salary hike if you had not mentioned it because they require only the latest payslip and bank statement? Hi All, Today I applied for ILR under premium service at Croydon Office, ( I applied for ILR throur Tier 2 General 5 years route) after I ga...

It looks like that for Tier 2 (General) to ILR, all documents should be submitted to Mandatory documents category.

It means they will wait for 5 days for you to supply the document. The sooner you supply, the sooner they make the decision. But if you can't supply within 5 days, they will make decision based on what they have.

Re: New Service SOPRA Premium

If you paid 3018 then it would be Super Priority -> decision is expected within 24 hours from your biometrics taken.

Booking an appointment is another different part of the application. Basically, Sopra just takes your biometrics, it does not involve in decision making.
