I think this delay is mainly due to Brexit effect and also because you've applied through a solicitor. normally citizenship applications via solicitors take longer time to be analysed. Hi,
You need to complete 5 years reckonable residence (i.e. stamp 1, stamp3, and stamp4) before you become entitle to apply for the citizenship

A friend of mine has received his approval today, his timeline as follows
Application based on 5 year residency (Stamp4)
Application Date: 01 June 2016
Advance stage mid of October
Approval : 25-01-2017
