Anyone got an update recently on his application. It seems that they started sending some approvals. I have received the second stage letter for the second time last week today :evil: :evil:

u applied in aug 2016 why thy ask for passport in oct 2017 so late this is why i thought maybe they reprocess ur application again from the date u submit ur orig passport ie oct 2017 then issue u a second stg letter today but i hope im wrong on this !! the form was published on the 15th of aug 2016 if you use old form after that date then the new rules apply to you such as submitting original passport etc etc maybe they are re processing your application from october 2017 when you submitted your original passport to them or maybe the second lette...

When I applied it was the old format at that time and they didn't ask me to submit my passport. In Feb 2017 they send second stage letter but surprisingly they send the second stage letter again today.

are you aware of anyone who got refusal based on this rule after receiving second stage letter?
I am expecting that anyone received second stage letter should be save from this rule as they should have calculated his days before starting their actual process.

Most likely they are trying to make sure that you are still living legally in the country and you don't have significant absence from it.
