Re: Options available after Retained Right of Residence

Okay.
I myself didn't have to go through any interview. I was living in Dublin at that time and now I live in Kildare.
Do let us know about the outcome of your application, If possible.

Re: Options available after Retained Right of Residence

Thanks for your reply and Best of luck for your application. I have seen that form, however, one of my friends said that immigration officers have started asking so many questions from those who apply for EU1 (i.e. initial Stamp 4 EUFAM) and there is also a 30 to 40 minutes interview. I was wonderin...

Re: Ireland Student visa with Previous visa refusals history

Just explain everything when/if applying for the Visa on a separate cover note and provide proofs (if you have any). I live in Ireland and I was once caught by the UK immigration (during transit, changing terminals). I was supposed to have a valid Visa for that. They took my finger prints and sent m...

Re: us cit. w uk bio permit uk spouse can we move 2 Ireland

I live in Kildare, Ireland and I feel sorry for you. :( I think Irish countryside might be a good option for you. House prices are lower as compared to Dublin. I am a full medical card holder, which entitles me to go to the doctor free of charge and buy any medicines as well ( you only have to pay 2...

Re: Citizenship application and travel

Once you have applied for the naturalisation, does the sex weeks rule still apply? Just curious! The point is, the requirement for six weeks to be the normal holiday period is only related to the application for the Irish passport. Once you have applied for that, do they still have any objections on...

Re: Absence of More than 6 weeks- naturalisation application

Great info on this forum. I'm planning to apply for my naturalisation in Jan next year and I have two gaps (one due to sickness and one due to my father's leg operation). I think the best option is to simply send then a copy of your lease and utility bills in advance in order to avoid any hassles. A...

Re: dearly beloved Immigration Officer Garda kildare

Oh man! Sounds like you have had to suffer a lot due to her. :( I feel sorry for you. In my case, I rang her because I had a general query in relation to my GNIB card and she started asking me unnecessary details. I was thinking about visiting her in the GNIB office, but luckily I didn't go. She mus...
