Have a look at this earlier thread.

Thanks Paul, much appreciated. Though probably I guess I wasn't so clear in my question earlier, so here is it again :

Do the children born overseas to naturalised British Citizen(s) have a right to claim their British Citizenship through their
1- father, or
2- mother?

Question : While she is here with me, can her 3 year old baby see the NHS doctor/services (if needed).
It might be worth calling up your GP/surgery, and enquiring if they can register temporary residents (i.e. anyone staying in the UK for a period of less than 6 months)

If you do have a digital camera handy though, that might simplify things, and then you can have then printed off at any of the Image Processing s...

How to find opportunities in the Middle East ???

Hi, I've been trying to dig up information as to how to go about finding probable job prospects in the Middle East (mainly in the UAE, Oman, Saudia Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain) but to no avail. There are quite a few websites, but apparently haven't been able to come across one that is directly related...

Yes I applied at the Passport Office. Here is a list of UKPA's regional offices, you'll need to make an appointment though if you are thinking of using this fast track service.

The applications for my wife and step-daughter were checked at our local Post Office just a couple of hours after their Citizenship Ceremony ended. Passports arrived 10 days later. I applied for mine at the Passport Office (sometimes in the afternoon), and was pleasantly surprised when the courier ...

Now if there really is a great urgency I can see it makes sense to go for the next-day service, again at a Passport Office, as that is distinctly quicker than you would get using the High Street Checking Service. Going by my experience with the UKPA, I would suggest noting down the telephone advisor's name, date and time of the call. So that if there is an objection raised vis-a-vis this particular point in the application, one would be able to refer to the advice rendered over the phone.
