Re: EEA Housewife married to BC - EEA(PR) sponsorship possible through BC activity?

Has the husband ever resided in another memberstate with her? It use to be possible for an EEA national to qualify for SET (M), but that is no longer possible. They have met, married and lived together only in the UK. The British spouse (husband) has been British by birth in UK & Jus sanguinis. The...

Re: E.E.A. naturalization + non-E.U. spouse of 3 years

I agree with CR001. From what I heard ILR/PR entitlements between EEA and UK immigration routes can only be limited used in the ILR Long residence scenario. This is not my advice and bear no responsibilities if followed, but what I would do in the aforementioned case: Wait an extra 1.5 years, apply ...

Re: EEA Housewife married to BC - EEA(PR) sponsorship possible through BC activity?

Thank you Casa.

Therefore the choice for that person would be to wait for Brexit and later apply for FLR(M)?

Or alternatively, is the 10 year long residence route applicable for EEA residents?

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

Do you guys know if the tracking number is the JCAP Barcode number given by NCS during Naturalisation and Passport joint application, or a reference number received in the acknowledgment email / post letter? Thanks in advance and my apologies if duplicating the question as I was not able to find a ...

EEA Housewife married to BC - EEA(PR) sponsorship possible through BC activity?

I am asking regarding the case of an EEA citizen (other than Britain) that was resident in Britain for 7 continuous years as the housewife of a British citizen and has not been doing continuous "qualifying activity" under EEA(PR) (employment, self-employment, studies), without continuous CSI for a c...

Return EEA(PR) certificate after citizenship

I have read that "overseas" successful naturalisation applicants have to return their ILR BRP card to the HO within 5 days after the ceremony. Does this also apply to EEA applicants? Do successful naturalisation applicants from EEA countries have to return the blue carton booklet with the permanent ...

Re: Proof of residence for EEA Naturalisation

Hi all, While have I my own thread for my application, I had a question directly linked to OP's so I thought it would make most sense to post it here. I applied back in September as EEA national and as proof of residence I used six P60s (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017), as well as an employmen...

Re: Proof of residence for EEA Naturalisation

Thank you both. I share the same view with Trabant. I am using NCS for naturalisation & passport application. I have been student, employed, jobseeker and self employed (continously)... hence the large amount of different documents (P60, university, self assessment SOA, JSA, etc.) to provide for the...

Re: Proof of residence for EEA Naturalisation

Hi. I got naturalised 2 months ago. I did submit proof of residence here for the past 5 years before application. I did submit p60's for 5 years and additionally few payslips for the current year. You are correct that the reason for submitting this is that our passports aren't stamped. Good luck Th...

Proof of residence for EEA Naturalisation

Dear forum members, In the naturalisation application form AN, page 29 (revision Feb 2017) it is mentioned that: Evidence of lawful residence during the 5 (or, if the applicant is married or in civil partnership to a British citizen, 3) years before the date of the application: required for applicat...

Spouse of EEA with refugee leave can apply for EEA(PR)?

I am an EEA resident in UK with Permanent Residence certificate, EEA(PR). My spouse, since 2014 has been on a 5-year refugee leave to remain visa. In 2015 we got married and since then we live in the UK. Can the spouse apply for EEA(PR) permanent resident card after 5 years of marriage, despite bein...

Just a side-note: I am aware that some of the EEA route options may not be anymore available after Brexit completion.

Thank you in advance.

Multiple routes to ILR - same person. Advice?

Hello. I have a complex question mixing 3 categories of ILR / Permanent residence / Settlement. I am an EEA citizen and already hold Permanent Residence certificate in the UK since 2016 through EEA(PR). My spouse is a non-EEA citizen, holding refugee status, temporary leave to remain (5 years) since...
