Re: 2nd biometric enrollment letter

Hi everyone I am going through naturalisation as an EEA National, using form AN. I have enrolled my biometrics using the first letter I receive, albeit on the last day possible or possibly the next day depending how you count "15 days from this letter". Letter was dated 17/10/17 and i enrolled on t...

Re: May not have a permanent address for a few weeks

Hi, Not sure if it's appropriate to use this old thread of mine but I thought it's better than having CR001 merging a new one back into this one again :) Just a quick question - I am currently in a bit of a tricky and complicated living situation and have to move out from my place in exactly one mo...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

I think naturalisation statistics showed they were was in the double digit thousands per year (10-20k if not mistaken). That would be per month. See: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/638761/citizenship-apr-jun-2017-tables.ods Look at tab: cz-01_q, you have t...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

I have now traced about 200 applications (ref 2xxxxxx700 to 2xxxxxxx900) in which 3 are mine - applied 9-Jun-2017, receipt confirmation sent to me on 19-Jun-2017. Here is the statistics: 76/201 are "not recognised" - majority would be family members of main applicant, these don't get updated or tra...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

Hi again, in mine I received a separate sheet which is the one you need to take to a participating Post Office to get your biometrics enrolled. I also believe from memory (I have filed the lot away and cannot check now), that it had a covering letter and in there it asked me to go and do the biomet...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

Mine was contained in the same envelope and requested me to submit biometrics within a 15 days timeframe. Are you 100% sure the letter does not include...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

For Naturalisation application tracking, do you guys use the: [*]Case ID in the acknowledgment email (or post letter) [*]Code in the biometric letter ? Re: JCAP - passport after ceremony

I have seen this case before. It was resolved within 2 days of a re-visit with the certificate to the council and asking their staff member responsible for the Home Office communications to re-send or re-notify the HO. Passport was received 2 days later by post, after an initial 25 days delay. HMPO ...

Re: EEA Housewife married to BC - EEA(PR) sponsorship possible through BC activity?

Interesting. Therefore this person in these circumstances would have to wait for Brexit in order to become a spouse dependent of BC while still staying in the UK without a visa as an EEA, then wait another 5 years for ILR? She would have 12-13 years of continued lawful residence by then...

Re: EEA Housewife married to BC - EEA(PR) sponsorship possible through BC activity?

Has the husband ever resided in another memberstate with her? It use to be possible for an EEA national to qualify for SET (M), but that is no longer possible. They have met, married and lived together only in the UK. The British spouse (husband) has been British by birth in UK & Jus sanguinis. The...

Re: E.E.A. naturalization + non-E.U. spouse of 3 years

I agree with CR001. From what I heard ILR/PR entitlements between EEA and UK immigration routes can only be limited used in the ILR Long residence scenario. This is not my advice and bear no responsibilities if followed, but what I would do in the aforementioned case: Wait an extra 1.5 years, apply ...

Re: EEA Housewife married to BC - EEA(PR) sponsorship possible through BC activity?

Thank you Casa.

Therefore the choice for that person would be to wait for Brexit and later apply for FLR(M)?

Or alternatively, is the 10 year long residence route applicable for EEA residents?
