They are two separate matters. There is no dependency or effect of any sort between the two.

Re: Will my conditional discharge affect my ILR?

Hello everyone, sorry if this has been posted before, I searched but the results weren't conclusive. I have an ongoing application for ILR, 2 years and a month since it started. Refused, appealed, we won the appeal and Home Office said they will grant it back in September 2021. Its past the 6 month...

Re: Do ongoing criminal cases affect the visa process?

Thank you very much for confirming. I am completely out of trouble but my ex knows this and has been trying to relentlessly frustrate the process. I am literally on 7 allegations now, 5 have been proven false and thrown out of court. Another 2 will be cleared in the next few weeks. But she has said...

Re: Is it second stage letter?

It seems more like an acknowledgement (IE first) letter, but feel free to correct me. Did this person receive anything else before it? What is the timeline? People that applied not that long ago seem to not necessarily get second letters, so that might be all you need. Thanks for replying . This le...

And also if a mere separation but no divorce is a problem for future ILR application? I have read the guidance but it was too hard for me t...

What I am struggling to understand is the purpose of the caseworkers phone call.
She did not ask me for nay information or documents but just told me why they can't grant me status .
If she had already reached a conclusive a decision why not just send the decision letter ?
Still no decision letter
