Which EU passport did you submit with the application? Did you mention in the application that you had once been a British citizen?

Re: EEA Family permit after renouncing British Citizenship.H

If the EU citizen is moving to the uk they do not need to show they are working for the first three months. This gets me thinking. Since the UK claims to not recognize dual citizenship for EU free movement law when the person is British, then the initial three month period should start from the eff...

Re: EEA Family permit after renouncing British Citizenship.H

If the Polish citizen is working (and is not a serious criminal), then there is no way for them to legally refuse the EEA Family permit (if the non-EU citizen is outside the UK) or Residence Card (if they are in the UK).
Also if they are self sufficient (and have insurance).

Re: EEA Family permit after renouncing British Citizenship.H

It is pretty shocking and amazing that you guys are being forced to renounce your British citizenship in order to be with your third country partner in Britain.

Re: EEA family permit

I would probably simplify the letter a little bit, and write something like the following. My wife previous application for an eea family permit was unlawfully refused. The ECO stated that she is not wholly or mainly financially dependent on me her spouse, and if she is, that it is a dependency of n...

Re: Refusal EEA Family Permit - leaving or staying in the UK

I personally tend to like even stricter , but what you have written is clear and should be fine. I would list, explicitly , the documentation or evidence that you are including with the application 1. Italian passport for Jose 2. Canadian passport for Maria 3. Mariage certificate 4. Flight infomatio...

I decided to make another application pending the appeal, that why I was wondering on the application form, there's a part for sponsorship,do we need to fill it,and yes my husband has being working for more than a year now. Good that you are reapplying! I am not sure what specifically you mean by the...

Re: Refusal EEA Family Permit - leaving or staying in the UK

You arrived in October, so you have been in the UK for less than 3 months. There is no requirement that you be doing anything specific in the first three months. (I misunderstood when you had arrived and mistakenly said you needed to provide proof that you were working, but this was corrected by Obi...

Re: Horrible experience at the NCS

I just hope that the NCS clerk didn't put any notes with the application to 'notify' them about some missing payslips. I would always suggest you request a copy of your file after citizenship is granted, or if there is any problem. It is cheap! https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/requests-fo...

Re: Horrible experience at the NCS

You can usually get a solicitor to make certified copies of a passport for about £30. So it is not so expensive.

Re: Horrible experience at the NCS

You do not need to send original travel documents with a citizenship application, even when doing the application yourself. You can go to a solicitor and have them make a certified copy, and then submit the copy with the application.

Re: Refusal EEA Family Permit - leaving or staying in the UK

All you need is some proof that you are presently working for 10 or more hours per week. Do you have a pay slip from your present job? Can you get a letter addressed to UKVI from your employer that says you are presently working? You do not need to provide: TB test Proof that you have any assets at ...

Re: EEA family permit

If you husband has been working in the UK for more than 3 months, you should include proof that he is working, such as a pay slip or letter from his employer.

Have you already submitted the appeal?

Re: Horrible experience at the NCS

It is not surprising. The NCS seems like a good idea only in cases where you have a very simple application, for instance with PR confirmation having been issued more than a year ago.

Good luck with the application!

Re: EEA online form very confusing

A signed letter from the EU citizen saying that they will be travelling should suffice. Note that arrival Border Officers can and do check that the EU citizen is travelling or is already in the UK.

Re: EEA online form very confusing

I do not see how dates of travel are at all relevant in any form of decision. I would personally leave it blank and explain in the notes that you left it blank because it is not relevant to any EU Free Movement decision.

Also consider contact Solvit. They take 8 weeks or so to do their thing, so starting early is a good idea.

Re: EEA Perm Resident - calculating 5 continuous years

If you were unmarried, then the clock starts ticking either when the Residence Card was issued OR when you entered the UK with your partner after the EEA Family Permit was issued.
