You can also ask them (HSBC) to change the date of your statement to be something more convenient for your application, i.e. so the last statement you need arrives shortly before your application is due. Then it is an original bank statement and no need for stamping, signing, ... and hassle at the b...

You have nothing to lose by asking, might as well give it a go. A situation like this is clearly different from an applicant just "wishing" the processing would occur more quickly, although whether UKBA recognises this is a separate question. I hope it goes well for you, serious illness of a family ...

I don't think there would be an issue in claiming earnings for a company that you *were* active in managing at the time of your earnings even if it is dissolved. The equivalent for a permanent employee would be salary from a company that subsequently became insolvent and I don't think UKBA would say...

Do you have written confirmation from your employer that they have suspended you because of your visa status? Perhaps they are using this as an excuse and really there are other reasons e.g. cost-cuts. It would be useful to get their reason for the suspension in writing, i.e. that it is due to visa,...

b) The tier-1 application has a lots of instruction pages e.g. page 1 to 6 & 3 to 62 - should I still include these when I send to UKBA? Not sure about this. But logic says it should be fine. However, I would let other answer this for you as I am not sure. I always include all pages of all forms. T...

The way I understand it is that you don't get the option to just stay 6 months extra to make up for the 2 x 3 month absences. You have to wait until in the past 5 years you have had 180 days out (or rely on caseworker discretion). The extra time you have to wait for ILR depends on when during the 5 ...

11 months earnings is okay provided it is enough to meet the points requirements relevant to you. You would need to provide evidence of your earnings that meets the requirements in place when you apply for your extension. You might want to look at the current guidance notes to give an indication of ...

Received confirmation that FLR (HSMP) is the correct form to use: I recently applied for an extension of my visa using FLR (HSMP). Instead of an extension, UKBA realised that they had make a mistake on my previous extension in Feb 2011 and re-issued the previous visa with a later expiry date. Since ...

I don't have a UKBA contact number - you could look on their website or search the forum (their contact line wouldn't be specific to HSMP JR). I have never used an immigration advisor, but again they would not be specific to HSMP JR so you could search the forum for advice. There have been a few thr...

Hmmm your situation is quite different from mine. To summarise: - Your initial HSMP was issued in Aug 2006. - You left the UK in Nov 2007 and you were still outside when your HSMP visa expired in Aug 2008. - A few months later in Feb 2009 you applied for a new Tier 1 (General). - When you applied fo...

When your original HSMP visa was coming up for expiry, did you apply for an extension? Was your Tier 1 visa an extension/transfer from your HSMP? Or had your Tier 1 expired in the meantime? It would be helpful if you could provide a list of your visa validity dates and absences e.g.: Visa issued (HS...

There are a few of us with JR HSMPs posting here:

Maybe it would be useful if we all contribute to one thread? There aren't many JR HSMPs left so good to stick together and share our info.
