Congratulations for your ILR. Can you post what does your ILR approval letter exactly says? I received mine one day before you and the letter doesnot specifically mention wording to the effect that "your ILR is approved from (date)", it just says that you will receive BRP in post within 7 days. That...
Can Moderators please make this a sticky and add any other PEO which blankly refuses to entertain an applicant who are employed by their own LTD company? Making it a sticky will be more visible to anyone desparate for appointment and will save someone with another disappointment as we all know many ...
Always better to prepate an application as if you are making a postal application. As such UKBA doesnot guarantee same day service for all applicants and if there was to be any problem like ongoing IT ISSUES s/he may not get opportunity to talk through in person. So carrying a cover letter is very m...
I dont think there is much you can do. Obviously your employer will not change payslips to suit your earnings period requirement. I am sure Case worker will be practical enough to understand the situation and in worst case, he can proportionately deduct salary for 3 days if he wants to check that yo...
I have an appointment in Croydon tomorrow at 12. Does anyone have any idea whether they're seeing people or not? I've been turned away twice in the last 2 weeks and the imbeciles can't even post an update on their website! No further updates or negative news on UKBA website or here on forum. Wish y...
No, not really. I visited Croydon for ILR, after paying fees and wait for 6 hours we were sent back and fee was refunded to credit card. Still not heard from UKBA. I (and about 150 others) on that day, probably do not count as "affected by technical issues" as our fees was repaid. And were asked to ...
Was the driving conviction not declared in the application form? Whether it is PEO or Postal application, if you have declared any conviction in the application, the outcome should be the same. Let moderators advise what the best next course of action should be. Did the rejection letter give you rig...
This seems to be a temporary issue at the moment. I was able to see that booking was available for 17th July How can this be possible? Arent the available dates supposed to be within 42 days in future. 17th July is far away. Are you sure mate, you saw times/bookings for 17th July. I think srpdata r...
I will still count both of you as lucky. I was in Croydon on 3rd and they had complete system breakdown after around 9 AM and they sent back almost 200 people back. Fees paid were refunded and so on. And now been asked to find another appointment, at least in your case they have accpeted the applica...
Hi Folks Two quick queries 1. How long it will take the Biometric card to reach us once ILR/FLR(M) is approved? I think it says, you should receive BRP within 10 working days. 2. What maximum can we wait before we need to apply for FLR(M)? Say the main applicant got ILR today. Can we apply the FLR(...
For dependant childrens (not born in UK), all you need is photographs and passports and their details to be entered as dependants in SET (O) form by main applicants.
In my opinion, this should not be an issue as long as it has been clarified through the letter from employer. Completely agree with this. And I would say it is a MUST, as I remember one of the fellow forum member had his application rejected by a difference of 15p between salary slip and bank state...
this is a classic example of left hand doesn't know what is right hand is doing. unless you receive a written confirmation by email, i woild treat the current appointment as valid. they might just be managing their internal workload and hence selectively cancelling appointments to free-up time for c...
