Keep trying especially around 1pm. You can install an app on your phone that alerts you immediately as soon as an appointments becomes available.

Re: Stages Of Retention

Your solicitor can request INIS to provide any evidence they have to conclude your wife was residing outside Ireland (freedom of information). Probably it would be something from the embassy of her country of origin.
In my case I had provided several affidavits from my wife but INIS disregarded those.

The scheme is closed now. You should talk to a solicitor to see if you can submit an application to remain.

Re: Citizenship application, income tax

By income tax do you mean you were self employed? In that case I suppose you can submit any official documents showing you paid tax in those years. You might be able to get those from your accountant or ROS.

Re: Work permit degree question

Although I had submitted the exam transcripts in my case, I think relevant degree should be enough to submit the application. The more important thing in my view would be the job offer details and whether your degree / experience matches one of the critical skills criteria.

Re: student scheme refund

When you got the intention to deport you should have applied for the humanitarian leave to remain under section 3 of immigration act. The other "leave to remain" application is under section 4, it can be applied with the section 3 application but is usually only sucessful while you have a valid perm...

Re: student scheme refund

After your review was refused you should have received a section 3 notice (provided there are no other applications pending). If not then best to talk to solicitor on this. They might request the relevant department to allow you to apply for humanitarian leave to remain.

Re: student scheme refund

Depends on your circumstances. In my case I had changed my stamp to stamp 4 EU FAM in the past which had been revoked so when I applied for the student scheme they told me to be successful your stamp should not have changed from 2 to 4 etc. If you don't have any other permission to remain in Ireland...

Re: Return to Ireland with Employment permit

While you are waiting for the outcome of an immigration application and while INIS is aware of your presence, you should be fine and it won't impact on your work permit application or return. Just make sure to retain the copies of all such communication with INIS as evidence that you were in touch w...

Re: student scheme refund

I had applied in October 2018, refused in March 2019, applied review in March 2019, review rejected in end of June 2019. INIS finance team contacted me in July 2019, I submitted the refund form on July 2019 and I received the refund on end of September 2019.

Re: Stamp 4 Eufam Revoked

1. As for naturalisation in a different country I don't know how you can apply while being present in Ireland (required for humanitarian leave application). For this you might need to confirm with a solicitor. 2. If your wife returns you will first need to re-apply EU rights (stamp 4 EU FAM), showin...

Re: Reply letter from EU3 application please help

I think any period that is not covered by employment should be covered by;
1-study (with private insurance for both of you)
2-self-employment (with private insurance for both of you)
3-living with sufficient resources (with private insurance for both of you)

Re: Stamp 4 Eufam Revoked

In my view divorcing now will not give you any benefit as when your wife left the country your rights ceased immediately. If you had divorced before she left the country, things would have been different. I would say you should meet with a solicitor to review your options. You also need to consider ...

Hi,
Best thing to do at the moment is to email DBEI's employment permits section with the question. They will reply within a few days if it is mandatory or not.

Re: Critical Skills Work Permit refusal

It seems you have following options; 1. Maybe your company can do the labour market test (advertise the job etc.). They can specify requirements of knowledge and skills that you possess to narrow down the job specs. Although even if that is done you'd still need to get a temporary permission to appl...

Re: Critical Skills Work Permit refusal

Did your employment, pay and qualifications etc. meet all necessary criteria for a critical skills permit? Usually this permit refusal means the job / qualifications aren't listed in the critical skills employment list published by the department. I am not 100% sure if holders of stamp 1G are requir...

I think it should have been one person and not two... although I asked a solicitor and they said that is no issu...
