Join family - spouse of critical skills permit holder

Hi, I am currently on stamp 4 (based on critical skills employment permit) and want to apply for my wife (non-EEA) to join me in Ireland. The online application system gives several options for Non-EEA to pick from the list; Join family (Non-EEA nat.) (spouse) Join family (Non-EEA nat.) (de facto pa...

Re: Stamp 4 Support Letter Email

As for Stamp 4 support letter. When you apply you should receive an email acknowledgement stating your Permit number and acknowledgement date. As for online renewal- if your passport has not changed since your previous renewal then apply online (currently huge delays). If you have a new passport th...

Date on IRP card after renewal

Hi. I had applied for my stamp 1 (based on CSEP) to be renewed to Stamp 4. It was expiring on 3rd of December 2021 so I applied on 3rd of November. I received my new card but the date of issue is 4th of January 2022 instead of 4th of December 2021. Does this mean I had a 1 month gap in terms of perm...

Re: New scheme for undocumented immigrants

I don't think revocation cases will be included or consider in this.. On justice.ie they wrote test cases. https://www.justice.ie/en/JELR/Pages/PR21000292 If 4 year criteria is fulfilled then even people with revoked visas can apply. This question was asked at a press released and was answered as s...

Re: Stamp 4 Support Letter Email

Did you send the email to the address mentioned on the form? I had heard there used to be a different email address previously. When I emailed them my application for the first time I received an automated "post master" email back saying their inbox was full and so my email was not delivered. I wait...

Re: Stamp 4 Support Letter Email

I received my letter (as PDF) by email on the same day when the "processing date" on the website moved past my application date.

You should give the employment section a call as you should have received an acknowledgement email at least.

Re: Stamp 1 to Stamp 4

Is your CSEP application under process or concluded? If you manage to get CSEP then your case will be very easy as repatriation division will likely issue you a stamp 1. If it gets refused as a result of you not having permission you might write to or email repatriation division with your qualificat...

Re: Stamp 1 to Stamp 4

Thanks raj1936,

They took around 1.5 years in total. I kept sending them my educational and other progress in the state after every 6 months. I had heard that they take less time in making a decision if you request a stamp 1 to apply a work permit (which I did in my submission).

Re: Stamp 4 support letter

I applied when I had worked 20 months on the permit but as per the rules the application opens after you've worked 21 months so I don't think usually the decision is granted before that.

Maybe they have what they need after the correspondence with you. Hopefully you will get it.

Re: Confused questions when applying CSEP for 2nd time

Hi, From my experience; 1) Dept. No: This used to be in the old version of GNIB card. I couldn't find it on the current IRP card so I had put in the "person ID" number taken from my correspondence with INIS. It is found on the top right of the letter issued by INIS. It may not be the right thing to ...

Re: Side project with Stamp 1

Not 100% sure but I think if you are on critical skills permit stamp 1 you need permission from the minister if you are registering a business in Ireland. Youtube and other online incomes may be ok as long as you pay tax on these.
