Re: Application Submission Date

Ok Cullinan. Many thanks. I just got an appointment for 29th January now in Birmingham 70 miles away from me and it’s for £880 for the family at £110 per candidate. I will wait and see if more could be released over the night.

Re: Application Submission Date

You are right Cullinan. Been looking at all centres close to my postcode, no available appointments whatsoever even in premium and enhanced centres. Does it mean there is no hope for appointments till February. Does it mean that the centres are so busy or it’s just the COVID 19 issue affecting appoi...

She was told verbally by the company ticketing officer to go to the website and respond and she did appeal it and it was granted. She just told me that now.

Re: Child Good Character MN1 Regidtration

It’s in Manchester and the letter says she has taken the tram without a ticket. She was given a fine of £50 with an option to appeal. She did appealed and the appeal was granted and the fine was downgraded to a warning. It is the RRS that gave her the fine. RRS means Revenue Recovery service

It was by the bus company. They didn’t take it to court. I also thought it should be like the normal parking fine.

Cullinan will respond. He likes to think he knows everything. Why did you say this to Cullinan, he is just trying to help others which some of us have not been doing, yet you are annoyed with him. All the moderators and gurus that are helping are just doing so out of love and should not be castigat...

I think so too. Explain your effort in a cover letter and I believe you should be ok. Just use the referees for the adults for the children as well.

Re: UK Citizenship referral letter

The requirement is that you are in the UK on the 1st day of five years and the day of application. This means if for example you submit your application today 9/12/2020, you must be in UK today and the 09/12/2015. If you submit from outside the country, it will be refused. That’s the legal requireme...

Re: UK Citizenship referral letter

Write them official letter for the referral and explain to them that if they are not able to do it they should tell you in their response to you with the reason, that should be ok.

I faced the same challenge, some were willing to do it while others were not feeling safe but at the end they did it.

Re: No Marriage Certificate

It depends on what happened to the marriage certificate. For example, if it was lost or mutilated etc. It is expected that you will report a loss and swear an affidavit etc to support the loss. Thanks bizman, we have only had a ceremonial wedding and never had a marriage certificate. And never need...
