Re: Spain Schengen Visa for Spouse of British Citizen

Hello all, We are planning on a 2 week trip to Spain in summer 2018. I am a British citizen and my Moroccan wife is residing in UK on her 2nd spouse visa. From reading the Spanish consulate website I understand that she can apply for Schengen visa as spouse of EU citizen? Therefore she does not nee...

Re: EEA family permit or marriage in UK? Not yet married!

The fact that EEA Family Permit are DELIBERATELY denied and delayed is an idea of some members of this forum and it's not based on any actual situation. You can not be married in the UK because you can not apply for a fiancee visa because you are not British or Permanent Resident and I don't think ...

Re: EU travel with EU spouse

AIUI, dual UK/Irish citizens cannot avail themselves of EEA rules in UK and so in these cases are considered British only. In any case as you have ILR you are firmly under UK rules for immigration anyway. The OP is under UK rules in the UK but being a spouse of an EEA citizen he can travel with the...

Re: EEA family permit or marriage in UK? Not yet married!

Hello everybody, I have to say I got a bit shocked but perhaps not entirely surprised when I saw that EEA family permit requests have started to be deliberately denied and delayed greatly since mid 2017. Got to read quite few stories during the past few hours. Anyways, I am an Italian citizen 30 ye...

Re: Wife's schegen visa application time has been extended

Sure it is. Visa handbook C(2010) 1620 final part III 3.4 Processing time . . Processing times for a visa application lodged by a third-country national who is a family member of an EU citizen covered by the Directive going beyond 15 days should be exceptional and duly justified. It looks like they need longer for a decision for whatever reason.
This is not acceptable for a family member.

Thanks for reply She came as a family member of an EU national. Flag is not correct might be NL 1. Re: Should EEA citizen register her divorce pronounced abroad by another non EU country

Why should the Home Office care whether you are divorced or not? It would only matter if you claimed to have a spouse or durable partner, or if it mattered who the father of a child of yours was. Incidentally, are you sure you are divorced? If the divorce was conducted by the diplomatic mission, it...

I have received my COA and hr officer is saying that there is a risk they could hire me and the Residence Card would be rejected. So although I have the right to work in the UK currently, there is a chance I might have to leave the UK as the home office can still reject my application. This is gett...
