Re: 19 months still waiting naturalization application

Hi, Bro My advice to you is just to forget about British citizenship and proud of your own nationality where you was born that is the main home country. If you wanna live in this country you can live and relax and try to take as much benefits as you can. You are just worried for nothing and waiting...

I don't think they will issue fine so don't worry much about it. There is a sign in my street which says £1000 fine for not cleaning after dogs and this street is full with dog poop
Not funny Khushal!!!! You have recently acquired BC and now are extra critical of everything

Re: British "otherwise than by descent"

Do you have your parents' passports from the time you were born (either your mother's passport stamped with RoA or your father's with ILR, preferably both)? Yes I have both my mothers and fathers blue passports and in both the validity dates cover the time when I was born in 30/04/1985. Mothers pas...

Re: ILR BRP impounded at Heathrow two and a half years after naturalisation

The guidance booklet clearly says the BRP has to be surrendered on obtaining UK nationality and in fact you are charged a fine if not done so within a specific period.
Unfortunately you did not read the fine print and nobody noticed it when you travelled in and out earlier.

Re: Permanent Residence Card - Processing Time 2017

Yes I think that person is right. You need to apply as change of circumstance. Change of name is a very serious matter to avoid forgeries etc. So you will have to submit all the documents regarding your name. NOT your P60s etc. Im not sure which form is to be used but you will need to reapply under...

Re: Permanent Residence Card - Processing Time 2017

The form suggested is for lost, stolen or damaged. I don't think a name change comes under this category. In order to change the name in the BRP one would need to show evidence (poll deed). That is not done using premium service. The alternative is to submit a new PR application mentioning name on ...
